Yeah a lot of people are cool with separating the art from the artist. For instance with the Justin Roiland stuff coming out recently I think people will still like Rick and Morty even if their opinions change about Justin himself now.

It’s ambitious and we’ll see who they end up going after but they’re definitely considering unexpected outside-the-box characters for this game

I would've loved if the game started off with more Cartoon Network reps tbh. As much as that pisses people off. Usually, people keep saying, "tHiS IsN't a CartOOn NeTwoRk PlaTfoRm fiGhTer". People just need to realize that's what most people want, lol. I like the Gremlins movie, but let's be honest, those characters should've been saved for a later date. One of the biggest issues is the roster choices. It seems like the devs are mostly just putting characters that they want in the game instead of listening to players.

I’ve thought the same thing, having a pool this big divides the fanbase a bit with which characters people are hopeful to see get added, and if characters aren’t releasing quickly than your chances of getting who you want anytime soon are very slim. In a CN only fighting game your chance of the character you want being next might be like 1 in 100 but in a WB fighting game it’s more like 1 in 1000 cause there’s so many more options they could go with. And I think people lose interest or aren’t as invested when the chances for what they’re interested in are slim. Some people want looney toons, some want CN, some want DC characters, or maybe someone’s waiting on a specific game of thrones character or Steven universe character etc… it’s too big of a pool unless you’re interested in every franchise the game has. And unless characters are releasing very quickly it’s tough to get a lot of people to stay interested if many only like one or two specific series/franchises and not EVERYTHING WB has.

@PapaGenos I've seen some people on Twitter say that they wish we could get a sequel to Cartoon Network Punch Time Explosion. This game is the closest thing we'll ever get to that because I doubt we'll ever see a standalone Cartoon Network video game ever again. I even saw someone tweet that they want a remake of Cartoon Network Racing. We'll probably just end up getting a Multiversus Kart before we ever get a remake or sequel to Cartoon Network Racing.

@@PapaGenos Huh, I've never thought about it (maybe I'm just being a nick person). Tbh, I do love Multiversus but I feel like they should keep adding CN reps like 1-3 at a time and than wait until next 1 or 2 season. So that way it won't focus on DC & WB Live Action Films.

While the original series isn’t technically anime (unless you’re speaking Japanese of course) there is a RWBY anime because of its popularity in Japan.

their fighting styles are more distinct, and they have plenty of material to work well in teams. the JL crossover and the upcoming season will give it a marketing push, too.

Same here dude, Shazam could work in MultiVersus, being basically a tank with being able to grant a "Shazam" buff to allies where they receive shock, speed, defence, power buff, that's how I can picture him, maybe not the overkill Uber Buff for Shazam that he grants, but none the less, power and shock is definitely on the table for him.

I would die for Rwby in there!!
