Not only do they use the “I have no friends” joke, they use the classic Lebron James clip and they even use the joke where some hip kid says something like “I want to die” in the most upbeat way possible. I love this so much.

It's a sign of customer empathy/understanding the playerbase. Kind of the opposite of how they've been handling the Season 1 character reveals (feel like 90+% of the playerbase has no clue who the Gremlins even are, why is he being shown over the currently relevant Rick and Morty?). Will be keeping an eye on this game (and continue playing semi-regularly), hope they can really hype up the release of Joker, Gandalf, and Walter White!

I have wanted to see advertising like I would see back in the years when things were simple, pleasures were real, and opportunities were endless. Thank you for this, and good execution. Also good incorporation of dark humor; I can tell you want Multiversus to draw in an overall much more upper-teen to adult-ish crowd than it's competitors, and I like that. Bow on the present, I have the fortune of seeing this when it's only been up for 41 minutes.

I wanted to say with my comment that Multiversus it's not another Smash. Smash is not an standard, even tough I love Smash, I have to make this point clear. So I wanted to proof that everyone that calls Multiversus a "Smash-based-game" is wrong, but it would be correct "Smash-like-game", because they are from the same genre. When I first discovered Tekken, I was told that it was an "Street Fighter -like-game", because they belong to the same genre. Multiversus is not an exception: is an "Smash-like-game", but not an "Smash-based-game". Maybe I didn't make this point clear in the first comment, didn't I?
