I'm sorry but I was analyzing the gameplay of this Finn player and just how Finn works in general and I realize he doesn't really take much skill to use. They're both using a controller and based on the attacks that he is using with Finn he is only spinning the right joystick instead of using square or x (depending on the controller) to attack most of the time. My point is is that Finn is a no skill character that is easy to spam with

@11:48 gsus, if that 2nd teleport had hit he could be comboing shaggy from 11 up to 70 without ground recovery air neutral + air down + air down + ground up + teleport slash + jump + air side (teleport slash missed due to diagonal dodge)
@@luisroman3952 As a Finn player, thats completely reasonable. He definitely needs more nerfs, but thats a great place to start. A kill move with a long lasting hitbox in that wide an area is going to be spammed hard past 0% damage, and you're seeing this already from the frontrunners.
I would def not go as far as not respecting it, it’s still the beta man… but it certainly didn’t feel fair how shaggy’s attacks are hard to connect into combos, like his air neutral feet, meanwhile finn has very low attack cooldowns he lands 1 he’ll land 2/3 extra or more, he whifs then he can easily dodge, very foigiving and unpunishable
hmmm maybe fin shouldnt be able to scoop and spike you from the middle of the stage?! maybe just maybe he needs a nerf to his scooping on stage spike that leads into almost instant kills
love this game but even pro players think the hitboxes are insane 4:13 you can see chavo say something about it to me that's one of the first thing they have to fix
Watch some scrubby Finn main call this a bad matchup for Finn even though Finn can do everything Shaggy does, but with a sword and no problems against projectiles.
It's because Finn is a sword character with 90% fast moves, fast speed, and backpack killing at 70% off the top He generally has no losing matchups either except for maybe Bugs since he's also broken

And the backpack move only kills @ 70 with enough coins, not enough coins and it doesn't even kill at 100% Honestly he's not any different than other assassin's. Only advantage is he can move while charging a hit which is the only thing making him good/unique. And bad matchups? Bugs, Arya, Superman, even shaggy too
@@Koko-fp2pl i know hes not its just so annoying how strong his kick is sometimes and how dependent they are on it they need to do what they did with Tazz tornado to Shaggys Kick thats it and for the other 2 they need major balancing

Take a shot everytime Batman up specials.. lots of characters have cheese moves, if your movement and positioning is good enough you shouldn’t be getting backpacked more then 2x per game
@@lachlaneft Batman up specials a lot because that is his only kill option. But that is no way near as cheesey as all of Finn. Batman just have his hitbox above but when Finn attacks it dosent even matter which attack he uses as all of his attacks just hits everywhere and have priority over everything
@@maxgunnarsson6506 Not really, I think the problem people have is because he can move and run while charging his neutral attacks. It's not really that cheesy but just a unique advantage since he's the only one who can do that, and that's really the only way he can definitely kill.
I have a dumb question- how the fuck do you base ball chuck the gems straight from your backpack 🎒? I know if you “down special” in the air you’ll slowly underhand toss a gem. But how do you THROW a gem like a pro?
Two extremely badly designed and far too strong characters in the finale... don't need any skill, because all abilities can be spammed without being punished decently. Something definitely needs to change.
Nah that point works for shaggy since he got high hit priority but they made a less terrible job than Finn on the hitboxes and mostly once you’re not casual it’s easy to counter shaggy if he overuse the same moves, finn on the other hand is not only having this good priority but also got this broken hitbox and a really good set of tools he got everything for him to be still a good and op character even if they improve hitboxes and make his up special a bit different because I feel like I use it only as a tilt move to be like "ok ima end this quickly " which feels lame because it works against a lot of not bad players and I don’t enjoy it

@@oneiox3950 nah good finn will work around projectiles they literally have built in mechanics for projectile the side special can destroy them and the butt armor give Finn the possibility to tank 3 projectile finn is broken on hitboxes mostly and you can be the best player in the world you would still be annoyed to get fucked by his hit priority and his insanely broken hitbox and his insane recovery
