I wish my family would have been like this one. It is such a heart warming story. For my own story, It was heartbreaking to me at 16 to be thrown out and disowned. Today, i ran into my mom and sister at Walmart. But now its been 2 years since they seen me, and i have made such a major change in my life. I am still Pre-op, but living full time as Claire (My Grandmas name). and look nothing like the awkward boy i was. Today i am a confident young woman holding down a full time job in a office building making a nice living. I introduced myself to them both saying i was a friend of Brian's when he was in school, and asked if they had seen him. Because i would like to catch up with him. Both said they had not since the blow up at home with him and his father and brother, I just said that was so sad. I asked what it was about if they did not mind, they just said sorry it was personal. i noticed mom tearing up as she said that she should have stood up for Brian when he came out to them and lost contact with him Mom said. I asked if they wanted me to give him a message if i ever run into him. Mom said tell him that his father had passed away and his brother moved to the UK with his wife. then gave me their number and asked if i could pass it along to him if i see him. I took it and put it in my purse, and assured them i would. 6 weeks later, i called and said hi mom in as close as i could to Brian's voice. I asked what she wanted from me, Playing on that i had not seen them 6 weeks earlier. She said she wanted me to come home. I asked about dad and my brother, which she informed me again of the news. I told her i was not sure, and asked if they still lived at the same house, she said yes. And i told her i would think about it. 2 weeks after that call, i called her again and said i would meet her and my sister at the house, and that i had someone i wanted them to meet. That was a week ago. This afternoon i will be meeting my mom and sister for the second time as Claire and the first time as hopefully their Daughter and sister. Fingers crossed it goes well. I really miss them and sincerely hope they can accept the new me. I'm sitting here a bundle of nerves and tears in my eyes hoping. I will update on the outcome.
UPDATE on mine: After arriving at moms home, i rang the doorbell. my sister answered the door. Asking me if she could help me, and saying Brian would be here soon. I said i'm here for Brian, which at that she let me in. When mom seen me she said Claire it"s good to see you and said Brian should be here soon. I'm sorry i could not help it. I let them stew in it for a few minutes. Finally i said About Brian. You can stop waiting for him. I looked at my sister and mother and said shes already here. And said mom you have a second Daughter and looked at my sister and said you have a sister. Looking at moms face i said yes mom its me, I am a woman now. Mom and my sister were speechless, and from the look on their faces i lowered my head and got up and headed to the door, as i opened it mom said where you going princess. I turned and looked at her. She was smiling at me and held her arms out to me causing me to drop my purse and rush into her arms crying. Mom apologized to me as did my sister. Mom and my sister said i was so beautiful and the cannot believe it was me. Mom and my sister came to my home tonight. we have plans early in the morning. And we have a full day planed, one thing is to clean out their home of their belongings and moving them into my home. the 3 of us spent the day laughing and crying over what we missed in our lives. As i sit here typing this, i am looking in the living room at my mom and sister who are looking at me with warmth and love. Its a new start to us. 3 women living under one roof as it should have been so many years ago. The 3 of us put our past behind us and plan to look at our future, Mom and sis seemed like they were trying to make up for all the lost hugs and kisses we had missed out on. I think i'm home finally. one final thing. Mom just brought me in a small cup of coffee, hugged me and said i love you sweetheart and said good night. I am going to retire for the night myself. I HOPE THIS NOT JUST A DREAM. Claire.
Oh wow what a beautiful story and amazing mum and sister, I love a happy ending with such an great acceptance from loved ones,unfortunately there's a few of t girls who like me are disowned by our families so nice to listen to a heartwarming story, thank you, krissy x ❤❤
