Totally agree. The russian ladies thrown out the baby in the air are the most idiot in the world. Stupid yoga method. Dont know why they can do that with new born baby.
I teach Yoga. I would never in my life, recommend the Russian lady. The baby alone screaming for it’s life, is terrifying! This video was perfect though. She also used a doll to show proper technique. She’s a good mom too I bet.
I can't believe this video has gotten such negative comments! I've been doing these exercises with my baby for months and we both love it. I'm an early childhood educator and have worked with many babies and studied infant development and there's a lot of good developmental stuff going on here like crossing the midline and bonding between mom and baby, especially with the beautiful and fun rhythmic rhymes (which my baby smiles every time she hears.) As long as you are gentle and listen to your babies body you should be alright. When we first started she couldn't go very far toes to nose and now she so much farther. Her flexibility has increased with her natural development because we never forced it, as one would do in adult yoga. It's all about teaching your baby how to listen to her body and respecting its limits. I want to thank the maker and I wish I could take the full class. Sorry that the words "baby yoga" have gotten so misused.
Just tried this and my baby was giggling through the whole thing!! Love it! So sad because I can't make the parent and me yoga classes, but I'm glad I can do this at home with my LO and for free!!
I love this vid. thank you so much for posting, my five month old son loves doing this. I suffer from anxiety so sometimes unable to leave my house to go to a local class somewhere, so being able to watch and do at home is a lifesaver for me xxx
Thank you so much for doing this video! I've been doing this routine with my daughter almost daily since she was 2 months old. Even though she is 10 months old now, she happily lays down to do yoga, anticipates the movements and laughs as we go along. It's been so great for bonding and adding diversity to our daily activities.
Baby loves it, and some of those moves really help with constipation! I love that there are poems so we can interact. Baby particularly loves "toes to nose"!
She teaches how to bring awareness to the baby by engaging movement Engagement Bonding I think some of the stretching exercises you have to gauge by ability Body awareness for the baby Movement to engage digestion
As much as I prefer this over swinging the poor fucker around, I must warn against straightening a babies legs! Having worked in a nursery, one of the first things I was told was not to straighten their legs, it can cause them cramping and excruciating pain!
I don't know what for a nursery you been working at but , babies are human beings they should be treated as a living beings , not as a dolls , all this exercises and baby massages promotes development. And the camps they may have is because that is the only position they are taking all day all the time and if you straight their legs is only normal to have a little click . My 5 months old daughter absolutely loves all this exercises she been having them since she was born once a day sometimes twice a day ( accept when she was new born). She started seating when she bar was 4 months old . Plus - always trust your guts , if you mother instinct is telling you to go then go for it , if not then don't .
Daniela Durgova First: The babies are not sat in the same position all day. They get to move about. Most doctors will tell you not to straighten a leg. Treating something like a living human being doesn't specifically involve massaging them, it involves feeding them, changing them, and keeping them active. Second: You should always trust your doctor over your guts. Remember that your guts didn't spend seven years studying human anatomy!
Thank you for your advice I always consider my doctor advice but I will trust my guts before anything else , as doctors work by statistics and every child is individual. The babies get to move but not as much as their bodies are not fully developed yet sepically when they are not crawling yet , and a massage a bit of exercise it is like a blessing on them I've seeing it on my own child , and believe me , I would never experiment on my child. I've been studying anatomy myself too not for seven years but long enough to learn something
Daniela Durgova It's more the straightening the legs thing I have a problem with. Even though it's causing cramps for a different reason, it's still bad to give a baby cramps.
I just did this whole video with my three month old baby and he loved it (April 2019)! He was laughing the whole time and he's more energetic right now. I'm going to share this on my Facebook page called MissKimberlyJoy (@EarlyChildcareEducator). Thank you very much 🥰🥰🥰
Thank you for this video, my baby liked that sounds I was doing (Tap tap, weah, benzi benzi), all the movements I was doing by this video it was very usefull also. Actually we growned up on this video, thank you so much.
Wonderful exercises! yet I would like to watch them on a real baby because I wonder if I can do the exercises with the same amplitudes than you do with the doll. I fear I damage my baby body even though i pay attention of how she feels. Anyway, thanks a lot for your tutorial!
My son is 2 months old, but he seems not interested in the yoga at all. He just look away, let me do whatever I want with his arms and legs (though he resist a bit) so I cant keep the eyes contact with him. Should I keep doing it, or should I change something?
Babies still can tell you if they dont like something. You just have to pay attention. Giggles and smiles tends to mean they are happy. Sour face or crying tends to me they dont like it.
the video is a good idea but somehow there are some movements i think nature is powerful enough to take care of all by herself. why should i press my babies knees into his stomach for the digestive system??? .... the shaking is also something I am not a friend of- they have to learn to use their body themselves, it doesnt make sense to bend and stretch their body when naturally they are not at that point to do it themselves.
"Baby, Bond, Soothing, Relaxing, time spent with your infant ... *STARTS SCREAMING * FUCKING CHUCKING THIS BABY AROUND MY WAIST AND DO TRICKS WITH IT IDGAF IF IT'S CRYING IN PAIN!! That's what most of these Baby Yoga shits do. Granted this isn't as extreme
She even comments that if your baby is going to have xrays to refrain. Is she a doctor? Who can verify its safety? She's is just as crazy and irresponsible as the rest and I don't see her using her own child.
