3:28 I don’t think he went over board because alright he didn’t have to go as far as them - but he is justified to, also he approached it respectfully-addressing the issue for the fans and even his enemies, and made a disclaimer explains it’s the end of the chapter, kind of a progression as he’s acknowledging the behaviour as negative. Yes that's how it works bro they just say "nah we already investigated him fuck this new evidence tying him to am M". Uno in most of these cases the feds already know who done it, they just need good evidence to convince a judge and jury to give u life

i reckon the violence of drill is as popular as it is now as opposed to the older music scene because people who in those kinda hoods have slowly gotten that form of expression for what they see/do and it's something both people from that upbringing can fuck with and more importantly it hooks people from outside that culture as a way of being involved without actually being involved; this violent/negative music has been around for ages but its that curiousity from outsiders that made drill popular in the first place and its probably the same thing now
