Mumbai police have arrested Mihir Shah, the 24-year-old son of Shiv Sena leader Rajesh Shah, in connection with the BMW hit-and-run case. Shah had been evading the police since Sunday and was apprehended in Virar near Mumbai. Reports indicate that Shah was tracked down after his friend briefly switched on his mobile phone.
The incident occurred on July 7, when Shah's BMW allegedly collided with a two-wheeler in the Worli area, resulting in the death of 45-year-old Kaveri Nakhwa and injuring her husband, Pradeep Nakhwa. Shah's mother and two sisters have been brought in for questioning from Shahapur in Thane district. Watch the video for further details on the arrest and ongoing investigation.
