Unfortunately you can't please everyone with reviews and there's a trend with some of the influencers most people follow where they recommend everything they get paid for without thinking twice. I've been using the oil on my motorcycle and my brother's motorcycle... I've made videos where I've showed that it helped solve the heating issues with my bike but everyone is entitled to their own opinion. I take my time to review products and that's why my uploads are far apart from when I receive the product to when I put the videos out. If people have trust issues, they need to rethink who they follow before judging the genuine ones with the same scale. Just my two cents.
A very useful review. It's good that you do these reviews of small things that make a big difference in your bike's performance and the riders experience. small things that make a huge impact.
how much engine oil is filled in 2014 duke 390 or the rc 390?? have searched all over the internet but i was just even more confused... some manual says 1.7l some say 1.6l some people say 1.5l ?? whats the exact capacity of the engine oil in 2014 duke 390? 😓 CAN SOMEONE PLZ PROVIDE ME THE CORRECT CAPACITY??
With a new oil filter you'll end up adding approximately 1.7. The main thing you need to pay attention to is that the oil level is between to upper and lower level of the "oil level viewer" on the right hand side of the engine.
@@OggyF can i directly measure 1.7litre and put it or do i have to check the "oil level viewer" even after putting 1.7 litres? and which oil do u recommend in the 2014 duke 390? I'm planning to get motul 7100 10w50 or motul 300v ... thank you for ur quick response ☺️
You could do that or fill some of the oil in the new oil filter till its soaked before installing it and then put 1.6l into the motorcycle engine. Run the engine for a few minutes and check the oil level. If it's lower than the "lower" limit, fill more until it sits between the upper and lower mark.
Over sold, used it on my ns- after 3k makes the gearbox and engine rough. Semi synthetic in fine print on the rear of the box and cruising done best on this oil. Not for high speeds and red line/top speed. Vibes increase and makes the engine audible closer to change. Overall pretty good for the price
@@OggyF I have a Duke 390 and have been on Motul since I got it not much heating issues, yes the temp goes all the way but never overheated, so is it safe to try this next tike?

Hello Oggy, Few unrelated question. 1. which bike do you suggest between dominar, himalayan or duke 250... or CBR 250 but heard about, cbr parts availability issues. so 2. anything which is good for touring budget 2.0 to 2.5 on road Please suggest as there is freaking jungle out there and too many options to select from bikes as well.
A few questions Oggy: 1: Is it recommended to change your oil company like from Motul to Castrol? Does it harm your engine? 2: What gloves are you using? I am looking for some sweet touring gloves. 3: I own a CBR and when I mount the tank bag my camera and bag and helmet are very close. Do you experience the same?
Preferred to use the recommended one but if you do want to change, make sure you don't go higher than the first number and lower than the second. For example, if recommended is 15w50, you shouldn't go 20w40...10w50 or 15w60 would be fine.
I would prefer synthetic oils which can run much more kilometres than normal mineral oil . Remember if your buying synthetic oil for your bike " Fully synthetic " must be written on engine oil bottle , If " Technosynthesis" or Synthetic technology is written on bottle then it's mineral oil , its only marketing techniques to confuse the customer
Hey can you tell me the exact price of this and the power1? Amazon is selling power1 10w40 at 780rs for 1L and an authorised dealer here showed me the official price list stating ~370rs for 900ml. That seems a bit too cheap for a fully synthetic oil o.O Even cheaper than the lame yamalube im using right now..
