@@legendaryshin4874 you weren't the only one who cried, Mumeis performance was up there with Risu and Bae. Honestly can't decide which is best so just consider them all the top tiers this time.
Many people in the crowd gasps the moment they heard the song play in tone and let me tell you: Fans cheered loudly for her after the song ended. That song alone remains special in many fans that wanted this and Mumei delivered it so well!
mumei og song convinced me to follow mooms even more than before (sapling at heart). Having 8bitdrummer go on it and da mooms singing it live were great treats.
I think a lot of artists have this fear of the live performance not living up to the studio version. Maybe for those who just like the song because it's cool. Personally, I like to see how the creators treat their own song live, parts they focus, emotions they want to convey. Suisei is an awesome singer and I love GHOST by her, but for me nothing can beat her performance after Coco's graduation. Studio version will never bring forth so many feelings, her performance felt powerful and raw, like she was showing her heart right there. Mumei's performance was beautiful as well, sometimes selfsteem can be a problem, but I hope she can be proud of what she did this week someday.
@@jacobfry5507 If I understand what you mean: the title of the song is not the name Mumei but the meaning of the word mumei, having it with the first letter capitalized make its meaning more ambiguous and most people would thing of a self-titled song
@@serpiton No, I'm just picky about how some people don't use captial letters in sentences. I don't usually say anything but I have to admit I am a bit of a grammar nazi and it triggers me when I see it. Then again, I do have autism so that's probably why, lmao.
Mumei Concert Version is the best version. Not saying the original was bad, but im not a fan of heavy tuning. But if mumei, she got a free mooming pass.
That's always been my impression--that the singing wasn't live. Because if you watch the live karaoke streams, most of them are not pro level singers and have pitch problems. I don't know, would they risk doing the autotune live?
@@AnomieTrain Artists using live pitch correction is pretty standard nowadays, so I wouldn't be suprised. However, that's not to discredit the talents; you still need to be a good singer because autotune can amplify the wrong notes just as easily, and make you sound worse if you don't know what you're doing. Also the fest songs, they have practiced them for months. In karaoke, it's mostly done unpromptu and they aren't trying as hard.
Any concerts without “Live” in the title isn’t live performances of the songs and dances, only MC parts are live. Exception also exists (for example Mori concert wasn’t titled live but it is) This is not a bad thing because live performances with so many people would be hard to do
in Fes everything is live Yagoo has already spoken about this the aim is to give the same feeling as a normal idol event, don't underestimate the girls' efforts
