I've not heard the original version of this, so I can't compare but, you sing it beautifully, and I love the versatility of your bass playing. Your voice and bass playing compliment each other too. Very well done.

I'm listening to a lot of Mumford covers but this is the first bass+vocal I here: this is great ! I did a Believe cover too but I now notice how it misses a bass :)

Hi Laura. Love this cover. You sing it beautifully! And I think your playing bass with a pick was just fine... didn't miss a beat that I could tell. I also noticed you made a pretty smooth transition at the end to ditch the pick and use your fingers. Your bass fingerpicking is pretty impressive I must say. I am more of a guitarist but I used to play the bass out in a performing band several years ago... It always seemed to me that it was much harder to find bass players than guitarists, so I just volunteered to be the bass player! lol. I think I preferred playing bass w my fingers, but sometimes a nice crunchy pick attack is necessary! I saw you do an Under the Bridge cover, so I'm checking that out now. Keep up the nice work... Wow great job! Crazy, I was watching your awesome bass videos when I noticed you had a Michigan video "where I'm from" Then I was shocked to see Fremont "again, where I'm from" Blew me away this is a small town! You originally from here? I just found it odd to be watching bass players From all over the world and just happen to stumble across one "you" who just by chance has taken video literally just down the road from me. Bass players do unite! : )

I'm from Grand Rapids but my parents bought a place on Fremont Lake back in '97 so I grew up in both places. 95% of that video I made back home last year was filmed in Fremont! haha...I live in Pennsylvania now but I'll be back home all of September! Honestly, I think that sucks.... But not this video... Don't get me wrong... Stereotypes in our society sucks. Because behind that image of a beauty blonde girl,that besides plays bass awesome and sing very sweet, exist a very powerful soul and amazing human being....
