I wish your mum fully enjoys her stay in Shanghai, as we do virtually. I really like to know about various things about China like there culture, funny and interesting history, I also like reading some Chinese translated novels, there food culture, festivals and about Chinese people itself. I wish I can really visit China someday and see and experience all these things myself. But for now I have a small request for you if you can please share many interesting things with us like their culture and I noticed from your video that ivan is on some moon festival holiday. I would like it if you can share details about this festival, like it's background story of the festival, what is special about it, what it represents and how the people their celebrate it. I mean if you can sum up everything about this festival. I know now there are many things are waiting for you do and you would also like to enjoy some free time with your mom and family but if possible please do make a video on my suggested topic. That nut is chest nut and is found in Uttarakhand and the first root vegetable is found in North East India .. and the red one in the packet is Goji Berries, that i saw first in Shanghai.Everything which is found in China is very much in North East India ..I used to stay in Shanghai ( both Puxi and Pudong area) for more than 3 years and for me its another home away from Home as it was so similar even in culture and food .. I miss Shanghai so much
It's perfectly all right for your boy to speak English, so that he can communicate with mom and dad, and I'm sure he'll pick up Chinese very quickly at school, and maybe some Hindi when he's older.

No paneer no problem, replace it with tofu, Ruchi ilike the way you adapted the dish, tofu is the closest substitute to paneer, even in the end you forgot that you made palak tofu but you kept saying palak paneer😂, i like eating tofu and since tofu is so easily available here ,i am going to try your recipe, a nice fusion of Indian and Chinese ingredients

Hi Ruchi, fellow rajasthani but based in Singapore since birth. Been watching your videos for awhile and just realised, i have not subscribed to your channel. Its nice to see your mum visit you, hope to see more videos with her. I remember from your previous videos yr mum has thyroid issues. If possible do minimise tofu for your mum, i myself suffer from thyroid problems and was told to stay away from tofu. Btw the nut is chestnut and the red berries is called goji berries.
