@@galahaaad it’s like rite aid/duane reade/a chain of stores that have a pharmacy in them but also sell things like nail polish and snacks/candy/drinks/frozen items and gift cards and holiday-themed decorations. they’re called “drug stores” because of the pharmacy part, and in punisher, phoebe goes: “the drug stores are open all night/ the only real reason i moved to the east side/ i love a good place to hide/ in plain sight” and also “when the speed kicks in, i go to the store for nothing” basically places like CVS are a good place to go where she feels like she won’t be noticed while she’s high and anxious

Yesterday, I planned to go to a Lesbian party with an old classmate. When she told me she can't make it, I decided to be courageous and go there on my own. While getting ready (and being nervous af) I listened to this song on repeat. Then I arrived at the bar, I got myself a cocktail and decided to embrace that evening with all its uncertainty and all its possibilities. And you want to know how it ended? I was lucky enough to meet the most beautiful and interesting girl in the room (who went there alone as well), we chose sitting in a quiet corner and talked for hours (about music and art, astrophysics and psychology, superpowers and the importance of being curious). And then we ended up kissing until 3 a.m., completely forgetting that we're in that bar and that people exist. I can tell you, I wanted to travel back in time and thank my past-me for making the decision to go there. Being open to new experience and curious what's beyond the fears that hold you back can lead to wonderful things!

perhaps they're not the biggest band on the planet because people insist on thinking it's "not for them" and listening to it in private as a guilty pleasure instead of sharing it to their social feeds and getting their friends/followers to listen as well. ice spice isn't popular because she's the best in her field. she's popular bc people don't shut up about her, and bc it's "socially acceptable" to do so. that's how fame works. don't shut up about the art you like, no matter your age/race/gender/etc. what's good is good.

so I'm an MD and I JUST NOW learned that when Phoebe says CVS she does NOT mean Cardio Vascular System-always thought that was a cheeky way of saying 'heart' for some reason?-she actually means CVS the Consumer Value Store.
