Munchie Monster Burger Challenge w/ Fried Monte Cristo Sandwich Buns!! 

A&Z #996 - Randy Santel vs Nortons' "Munchie Monster" Burger Challenge w/ Fried Monte Cristo Sandwich Buns at Nortons Brewing Company in Wichita, Kansas!! A few weeks after finishing my February & March Florida Tour with ‪@KatinaEatsKilos‬, I started a Midwest USA Food Challenge Tour. For event #25, I stayed in Wichita, Kansas so my friend "Eager" Ethan Teske and I could become the first two people to attempt and help kick off the new 7+lb "Munchie Monster" Burger Challenge at Nortons Brewing Company owned by my friends Becky and Dan Norton. Ethan and I each had 45 minutes to feast on so much delicious food!! The challenge features a "Munchie Monster" Quadruple Bacon Cheeseburger with four 1/3lb Smash Burger patties layered with American cheese slices and Applewood bacon, with a grilled cheese sandwich in between. There are two huge deep fried Monte Cristo Sandwiches that serve as the buns, dipped in funnel cake batter with ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese inside. The platter includes an order of their tasty #1 selling appetizer "Bacon Crack" (candied bacon), and two giant orders of Spicy Cluckin' Egg Fries loaded with Ranchero Chicken, fresh jalapeno slices, 1lb of Pepper Jack cheese, and four fried sunny-side-up eggs. The Nortons Brewing Company beers were optional. BIG thanks to Becky & Dan Norton the owners and everyone with Nortons Brewing Company for the wonderful food, drinks, and hospitality!! Nortons Brewing Company's "Munchie Monster" Burger Challenge in Wichita, Kansas ($75):
- Nortons Brewing Company opened in November 2017 thanks to owners Dan and Becky Norton.
- Dan has been brewing beers for over 20 years, so they decided to start a brewery and restaurant.
- The "Munchie Monster" Burger consisted of four 1/3lb beef Smash Burger patties, layered with American cheese slices and Applewood bacon, with a grilled cheese sandwich in between. It had healthy vegetables (lettuce and tomato), and two deep fried Monte Cristo Sandwiches for the buns. Each sandwich was dipped in funnel cake batter and ham, turkey, and Swiss cheese were sandwiched between two slices of Texas Toast. YOU NEED TO TRY ONE OF THEIR MONTE CRISTO SANDWICHES!!
- The platter included an order of "Bacon Crack" (candied bacon) their #1 selling appetizer.
- There were two giant portions of Spicy Cluckin' Egg Fries loaded with Ranchero Chicken, fresh jalapeno slices, 1lb of Pepper Jack cheese, and four fried eggs. This was all delicious as well!!
- The delicious beers in this video by Nortons Brewing Company were optional and not required.
- There is a 45 minute time limit to finish everything. Winners earn the $75 bacon cheeseburger meal free plus a sweet t-shirt and Wall of Fame. Please call ahead if interested to schedule your challenge!!
