that trick for the drums on a dj style fader is genius ... i always though they should build desk for dub with this type of fader made to be heavily used . Thanks for this tour !

@@jjlovesjam ..not easily broken,but not intended to be as much used so yes the longevity will depends on the quality of the mixer, Concerningt this trick with the external Fader , this could simply be a way to group several tracks via a group out , and having aversatile fader controlling this group (more practical than desk group faders which generally are very close to each other and very hard to got the precise same level on Left & right faders each time ...so a stereo fader on this path that can be heavily used , this is a great idea.

@@jjlovesjam sure technically this could fit any bus drums or skank ... but in addition to the many in outs of drums for example the drum group needs to be exactly at same level each time it appears in the mix; also when it's about dancehall, new roots , raggamuffin , the mixer must follow the dj who sing, and bringing in an out the drum and bass is very frequent to leave room for the verses and add energy in the chorus , or some oneshot ( raise the fader only on beat 1 and keeping silent or very low level for the rest of the measure .

Good stuff ! i was wondering if you could help me out with connecting the DM1000 to Ableton as insert FX with my Mbox pro 3 soundcard , In the Mbox pro 3 manual it says i need a TRS (2x mono) to TS (stereo) Y cable and connect it to the stereo insert input of the Mbox pro 3 this got me confused as the DM1000 is a mono delay , would i be able to connect 2 x mono cables from the DM100 to the Mbox pro 3 on a input and output line ? , i would like to use the delay as insert in Ableton but also to feedback on it's self for Dub delays perhaps you can give me advice on how to set my routing up ? any advice would be appreciated
