Jamaica Center-Parsons/Archer (EJZ)
One of my favorite subway stops in the world, in the best borough in NYC - Queens! Awesome stuff and it's all about visiting, shopping, and saying hello to the undercovers. I would be shocked if 50 Cent didn't chill here while he was up and coming. You can also hustle with the card sharks on the sidewalks, yup they're still there. The police were grilling me pretty hard near the Addabbo Federal Building. Not sure why, but I didn't flinch! I'm a professional!

Home sweet home jamaica queens was my favorite area and I used to live there for 7 hrs since I was born now I love in nj :( I always take the e train to manhattan every weekend

I will be in NY for thanks giving and want different places to go shopping. I always do the same, Woodberry common, Atlantic ave with Fulton and 34th. Any other places I can get bargains. Last time I came the aqueduct was closed

When I first moved in Jamaica (1977), we used to have the “ele” train line on Jamaica Ave, last stopped used to be 169 St. Jamaica Ave was very charming after you passed Supthin Blvd towards Richmond Hill (lots of mom’s & pop’s stores), not dangerous at all. PS 86, PS 82, JHS 217, Hillcrest, Jamaica & Edison H.S.

When I was a kid, the Tabernacle of prayer was the Lowes Valencia movie theater and directly across the street was the RKO Alden movie theater. Of course, the "EL" was still in place so that was a long time ago.

Can you please do me a favor? Can you post a short video showing the old Jamaica Savings Bank building (before it was moved across the street)? When I was about 5 years old (in the 1960's), my mother took me there when she needed to do some banking. I'm now 67 years old. I have fond memories on the old Jamaica Ave and the EL Steve S.

I miss Woolworth,Oddlots,Centrals(Army Navy store),Mays,Jamaica Paint,Jarson Electronics,Gertz Plaza Mall,The Wiz,Safety Drugs,Better Buy Drug Store,Mr Lee's,Chelias Department Store,Its just not the same anymore.
