Bless you! That looked like an exhausting round. My mare's quite spooky and I find just sticking to trot on the approach to the first few fences until they get their rhythm and confidence helps! They have more time to get themselves together as the approach is that bit slower, plus you don't have to worry about your striding either. You were both flying towards the end though!
@AndLoveSaidNo93 Thank you! It was pretty exhausting, but, was also really educational for both of us. For me to make sure I warm up away from all his stable friends (who were in the warm up) and go last (of our group of friends) so he thinks he is chasing, and him to learn that jumps along a fence line are not scary! The good thing about 70 is you can do it from a trot and none of them are scary!
