I don't, what good would it do? Like in the UK the gave the names and faces of the two ten year old boys that killed James Bulger and now cuz of it they had to have new identities. You don't know what sort of toxic environment these girls were subject to so I believe they should be allowed a second chance.

@@maryjane4846 Yeah, she sure had her hands full all right... with two bottles of wine. I'm not saying that what these two girls did wasn't horrific, but the mom wasn't some saint either. She was an alcoholic who put the family at financial risk by wasting money on booze that could've and should've been spent on necessities. I agree that we should all feel sad someone was murdered and not think they deserved that (becuase no one does), but let's not glorify bad parents guilty of abuse by neglect. Her daughters wouldn't have ended up this way had she provided them with the care they needed... probably. The "killer psychopath" is rare and I feel like it's typically a cop-out to avoid confronting serious issues by just acting like all killers are inherently bad and pure evil from birth, but I suppose it's possible that these two could be some of the rarer instances (though I find it hard to categorize them in the same group as Jeffrey Dahmer instead of the same group as Gypsy Rose Blanchard).

My very good friend drowned in a bath tub. He was alone in his apartment, and wasn’t found until hours later when my brother (his roommate) came home from a night out and found him. My friend’s mother requested no autopsy and the FL police respected the request… I understand, but I wish we knew how he’d passed. This show saying that it’s so rare has me questioning old ghosts. 😕 he was taking ambien at the time. He’d had one beer. Would that be enough? He had so many plans for the future. (My brother was Matt’s best friend too. He was definitely at the party, away from the apartment, if anyone was curious. Tried to give Matt CPR, but it was too late.) RIP Matt. Given they were young girls from a highly dysfunctional home whose victim was their abusive mother (reminder that neglect is a form of abuse), I'd say that the sentence they got is pretty understandable. What these girls really needed was therapy and some time in a mental health institution, not time in jail surrounded by real criminals who could act as bad influences. I could even argue that the murder was a form of self-defense if the mom's alcoholism was impacting their finances so severely it was making them at risk of not having access to necessities like food or power since they were minors and were therefore reliant on her to provide for them. I'm not saying that I would condone their actions or that they shouldn't face consequences, just that this was a somewhat inevitable tragedy ultimately caused by the mother's poor parenting and not becuase the girls were inherently "bad".

I got the help I needed for my alcoholism 25 yrs ago. My girls were very young and tho I never physically abused them I certainly did neglect them. Even in the same house I wasn't home. It took at least a year for them to trust me at all. When I arrived home nightly from AA Mtgs they always looked in my hand for that brown paper bag. One night I shared how angry it made me that they always looked. Someone pointed out to me that I was the problem, that I made them fearful and mistrusting by all my past shat. It finally hit home that it wasn't only me my drunkenness touched. I hope I never forget the harm I did without using my hands. It was way worse really. My girls are grown now and told me they barely remember me drunk. My oldest daughter doesn't tell me that though. She had to be mom to the younger two. She's told me she's forgiven and I believe her but may I never forget she won't forgive again. And I blame her none. I am grateful today my kids have no addictions. I hope you've been able to find peace in the face of what your life has been. Thanks for your post to remind me some memories should never fade for me.

Despite all that it never occurred to myself or my siblings to do away with our parents. I still miss my parents, they too had a miserable and poor upbringing. Living in a poor country with limited facilities can do horrible things to people. We all have our dreams, which often get crushed to nothing in the process of growing up and having life's responsibilities. These girls had an unfortunate life, yet their mother made many sacrifices to provide for them, these girls didn't appreciate their mother at all. The limited time in custody is nothing compared to the life they took away. Despite being murderous they still get various protections to restart their life anew after jail. Whats that about? 2. There was mentioned that the blood tests did indicate an amount of alcohol that be deadly for an average person. 3. Which was followed by statements on how she was considered an alcoholic but she didnt show signs of long-term use. From that information, it can be gathered that she may have had a tolerance from being an alcoholic but had not been one not long enough to cause scarring and bruising from impaired faculties. She definately had a good amount of alcohol in her blood but I cant be too sure it was enough for her to black out/pass out in 6inches of water. It doesnt explain why there was only one bottle of empty vodka and multiple drinking glasses, oh, and the 4 and a half hours amount of time that passed from when the girls said they left to go to a friends for dinner (saying the mom was already drinking heavily) and yet she had drowned from blacking or passing out? I woke up underwater in the bath thrashing about after taking a massive breath under water. I had been awake on speed for 5 nights and was so tired. In fact done it a couple of times it's so scary. Don't get in the bath if I'm tired anymore after ended up with bumps and brusies last time I did it from thrashing about hitting sides you don't have a clue where you are when you first wake up

Very true what this gentleman said,I always wondered how is it really possible that an adult can drown in a bathtub.its understandable when it's a child that has drown as they are smaller.I believe bathtub drownings are not drownings they are murder,somebody drowned them or somebody drugged them before they went in the bathtub

If their mother hadn't been an abuser, then these daughters are the evil itself.
@Somegirl811

It's weird that the girls thought their friends would be impressed by this. Even if the mother was the worst, she was clearly dealing with depression and deserved a little compassion. Two little narcissists that can't imagine how other people think and feel. Honestly it's weird the coroner ruled this as accidental in the first place, like how would she have gotten face down? I guess it's best to err on the safe side and avoid accusing grieving family members.

Rare bath-tub drowning. After a stroke I was diagnosed with epilepsy and was told NOT to go into water (pools, hot tubs and baths without supervision. I did have a friend whose father had a seizure in the bath and did drown, alcohol and meds mixed. So for people with seizures or any type of paralysis are at risk, I was told on leaving hospital. Rare but not impossible.

@BosisofSweden
@BosisofSweden 2 года назад
@@missmiss5051 What do you think "a real alki" is? Alcohol abuse can look very different where most people slowly drink too much over a period of their whole life. They are seldom to never unconscious from it but have a constant raised level of intoxication and tolerate huge amounts of alcohol. Those are the ones that turn up with a DUI level of 2.0 per mille without even driving bad. And other alcoholics end up in the street with severe brain damages, peeing themselves. Some people have three jobs and drink themselves unconscious when off work. You just do not know and there are no "typical signs" to discover.

@@BosisofSweden i was referring to that as well as the medical examiner said there were not the usual physical damage signs in her body, can't hide liver damage. Don't really want an argument though, so i will please request kindness. Just that blaming the mother for her own murder didn't sit well, when i knew about the other facts that were presented in other shows
