There's definitely a murder on the dancefloor since the Just Dance team killed it with this one. A perfect song choice from the Y2k era with great lore building. I like how they even showed he offered to send her home, but she chooses to stay. Also, can we appreciate how gorgeous the map is as well as how perfect the chorography matches the music and story? Random theory: night swan was originally a beta tester for just dance and she wasn’t good at it so the traveler brought her in to teach her how to dance and so since she’s a human that stayed too long in the dancerverse has corrupted her mind

So perhaps Leda and The Traveller were a couple at some point. But maybe Leda saw him cheat on her with Si’ha Nova, which made her snap. As a result, she became the powerful Night Swan to seek revenge on The Traveller through his son, Wanderlust and his friends.

Guys, I think we're right about Cygnus being Night Swan's son. He's her main architect and engineer who most notably built the time-space clock tower (time and space are the Traveler's main powers), a cygnet is literally the name for a baby swan, Night Swan's capital he built for her is apparently named after him, her second flashback song Darkest Hour is on the same map as Beggin', that entire song is Cygnus begging to loved, and he has the exact same blue hair and gold over his left eye as the Traveler has. Maybe Cygnus is constantly trying to win his mother's love (He's built a lot of Night Swans empire to win her approval and yet Jack is the one she keeps by her side) but he's a constant reminder of the man who she loved and lost?

This explains so many things but also raises so many more questions

I hope many ppl see this😭 this took forever to write it’s weird to think that The Traveller made her learn how to travel and showed her everything. it’s really bad that she chose to stay as well, she must have been heartbroken from their breakup which is why she turned to Night Swan and travel to all maps and corrupt them all to get revenge for it. I don’t like the thought of Night Swan originally being from the real world, put me on edge. The Traveller must have trusted her with this power as the words “You better not kill the groove/steal the moves” and “Gonna burn this god damn house right down” must be her inner thoughts. Who knows. It’s just a *theory* HOWEVER!!! I wish I entered the Just Dance world. Wait… I think I’m getting the lore in this. Basically Night Swan also came from the real world as a good person whom The Traveller had first met. They danced all their heart out together on the dance floor, taught Night Swan how to be a good dancer, and made love on the dance floor, and made a promise that they will be there for each other no matter what and a bright future will be ahead for them (end of the routine). Until The Traveller met the Levitating coach (Siha Nova), which is the parents of Wanderlust, that made Night Swan felt heartbroken and envious.. If we were to continue her lore in The Darkest Hour, there she showed how good she was at the beginning and felt that she was taken advantage and her dreams and efforts of being a true dancer was killed all because of The Traveller’s betrayal and cheating on her. And it is possible that she also killed The Traveller and Levitating coach out of her rage. And when she learned that The Traveller and Siha Nova bear a son (Wanderlust), she plotted revenge by using the danceverses to capture Wanderlust and take her revenge on him. In that way, she could rule the whole Just Dance-verse. 🤯 WOW IM SERIOUSLY BLOWN AWAY BY HOW EVERYTHING IS CONNECTED 🤯🙈

I am never going to see the story modes of Just Dance the same ever again after dancing along to this song.

My theory for this story has changed. The Traveler and Leda (Night Swan) were lovers but I don’t think Traveler cheated on her, like some believe. I believe it’s a classic case of letting power get to one’s head, and Traveler regretted showing Leda how to create portals and such. This also reinforces my theory that it’s looking more like Wanderlust and Sara than Wanderlust and Jack Rose.

What if Night Swan aka Leda turned evil because she got jealous that The Traveler went with Siha Nova and is now getting payback by going against Wanderlust and the rest of the gang

My story: The Traveler corrupted Leda's mind for her to be more powerful than him, so she could conquer the danceverses for him, and said that if she tried to resist, she would get punished. After Tainted Love she sent the corrupted dancers to get more minions, but saw that she wasnt doing that hard work for her,and wants revenge and justice, so she enters Night Sara's mind - which is kind of a prison for normal Sara - and explains the whole story, Sara, purifies Night Swan's powers and mind with the flow, and them are determined to defeat The Traveler. Also, the other corrupted dancers get normal on diferent songs

So thats how she became night swan. And possibly how she had jack rose? So pretty much what happened here is that traveler taught her to use the flow and now its corrupted her mind im guessing that's what's happening here. This is why i would only visit the danceverses. Not stay there. I dont want to end up a villain like night swan. This was very well done too!

I’ve been killing for Murder on the Dancefloor but this just does not fit the song at all… another song ruined by being a lore map

No me gusta, la canción es perfecta no creí que saldría en JD...pero por qué tenían que arruinarlo con reciclaje? Esa canción tan elegante y movida al estilo disco merecía algo enérgico vibrante y muy fancy. No me gustó la coreografía y mucho menos la ambientación. No sé que le está pasando al equipo creativo que desde el 2023 están reutilizando y convirtiendo todo en musical. Me quedo con el 22 para abajo

Why cant we have 2 versions of these songs. One explaining lore and the other being original cuz the choreo for this is AWFUL. There is way too much looking around, doing slow moves during the chorus. What made older games better was the constant full body movement in the choreos. This game has more in common with tiktok dances than it does with older just dance games
