Current FBI and law enforcement agencies should be paying attention to older cases like this first one. Public sentiment towards them is at an all time low and their behavior is going to cost them in court. Jury’s are made up of people that dislike and distrust them and they’re doing nothing to change that perception. Jury nullification is going to be a major problem for them going forward and they brought it upon themselves.
To me this was just their first try. To bring the towers down... FBI and others didn't learn a lot after this attack. And I hope, for so many innocent people they did after 9-11. Not just to prevent an attack but also when they are attacking. NEVER attack when innocent lives could be lost... Even when the chance on that might be minimal.
They say wanna be but he was living it. I don't agree with him killing the officers in this case. He would have gotten a couple tickets and told to move on.
In the end, they say that they had a wake up call... While (someware, don't know the time stamp) they already mention Afghanistan's training grounds and 1 of the suspects was also arrested in Pakistan... That wake up call was clearly not loud enough... specialy since it was only 8 years before 9-11.... 8 years...
