If you're looking for things to do in Murfreesboro, the Murfree Springs Wetlands is a boardwalk and nature center adjacent to the Discovery Center children's museum. Here you'll find birds, animals, and amphibians in a nature preserve right in the heart of the city. Murfree Springs is the city's original water source and is the site of much of the city's history. Along the old retaining wall, you'll find a timeline of the city's history at this site. Young and old alike will enjoy this little spot of nature in The Boro.
