I was routing for Talou but I had the feeling that she was not going to win this after watching her last 200m in Birmingham as she looked tired and unrelaxed due to overraced .Ahoure had a break and was fresher than all of them. congrats Ahoure.
This has to be her best year ever, and she is hands down best sprinter of 2018. Won the Indoor World Championships, Won the Diamond League Championships, and beat her peers throughout the Diamond League Season. Some months ago Ta Lou appeared to be the best sprinter of 2018, but wasn't able to hold her peak ,and faded in her last 2-3 races. However, the Ivory Coast Girls dominated 2018.
exactly. Ahoure seems like the only one with a good team and/or a brain, racing the biggest meets of the season. Meanwhile Ta Lou was racing every week, sometimes twice. Ridiculous and unsustainable.
Asher-Smith should have won this easily but she lacks confidence on the world stage. It'll come eventually. She'll finish the season as world's fastest at both 100 and 200m.
Luckenkemper...? Whose best placing was in Stockholm for 4th place with only Asher-Smith and Ahoure in the field? When it's a stacked field... SHE DOESN'T EVEN QUALIFY.

She's been beating everyone all year but now lost out to someone who never won a 100m race all season. This is the most important race. @@borood1188 Murielle been around so long of course am supporting her over TaLou shes done great on the circuit she is the 2013 200m silver medalist, so this is no pretence she is my favourite over TaLou. Murielle has learnt to be smart. She had her injury issues and back to great for when its matters. This is nothing to do with country its about the individual.
TaLou will be lucky to run under 11 seconds 2019, Elaine, Schippers, Shelly, Bowie, Murielle Dina if she keeps healthy. Will trash the hell out off her.
