🇪🇸 Un sistema formidable de muralla y fuertes, caminos y asentamientos. Hace 1900 años, el Emperador Adriano decidió reforzar las fronteras en todo el Imperio, y en las Islas Británicas, emplazó el MURO que lleva su nombre.
De mar a mar, Hadrian's Wall atraviesa paisajes rurales con muchos atractivos naturales, históricos y arqueológicos. Increíble pensar que el Imperio llegaba tan lejos de Roma, y que el comando le dedicaría tantos recursos para protegerlo en lugares tan distantes.

🇬🇧 The ROMAN EMPIRE included the whole of England, reaching the Scottish border. HADRIAN'S WALL was listed in the World Heritage Site in 1987 by UNESCO.
1900 years ago, Emperor Hadrian decided to fortify the frontiers across the Empire. In a few years, a massive and solid wall was stretching from the North Sea, near the city of Newcastle, to the Irish Sea.
This magnificent defense system, with several forts, high walls and towers, ditches, roads and settlements, are the destination for millions of visitors from all over the world.
A great rural landscape, with plenty of historic and archeological sites. Hard to digest how large the Empire was, and even this remote areas wouldn't be forgotten by the central command.
