Listened to this in 1971 and nothing has changed about how we treat our combat wounded.

Stains on a sink, especially an old one, scrub with all the soap you want. It ain’t coming out. Such a powerful reference to an extreme alcoholic. It may be functional, but something about that dirty old sink never really gets my hands clean!!!
