Bosnia is not a Muslim country. It is a traditional Catholic country. There are 50 % Christians (catholics and orthodox) and 50 % Muslims in Bosnia. This does not make Bosnia a Muslim country. We Bosnians have a little bit to do with Islam, in some areas we have nothing to do with Islam.

Bosnia was muslim for more than 500 years and only after the first world war did christians start to settle in because they got free land from the kingodm of yugoslavia that took that land away from muslims forcefully.
Go to Trebinje, Citluk, Duvno or Bijeljina... Bosnia is not even Bosnian on 2/3 of its territory, let alone "Muslim"!! Besides, a country can't be Muslim but elhamdulillah Islam is alive here. That's not true. A Catholic chaplain, who was a Bosnian, mentiones the Bosnian language the first. From the Bosnian language the Serbian languages derives from. Bosniaks were firstly Catholics. Today our politicians are lying to us when saying Bosniaks are Muslims and the other 2 are Serbs and Croats. They are all Bosniaks, the one are Catholic Bosniaks, the other Orthodox Bosniaks and the Muslims Bosniaks. There are too much lies in this country. Not only the politicians are lying. The Bosnian Muslims lie incredibly.

Yes, Islam was in Europe, only in Bosnia and a little bit in Albania. But through occupation. Albanians have hated the Turks. In regard of Bosnia: Just see how many times the Ottomans have destroyed the monastery of Fojniae (Fojnica). And when these "racist" (of the West) say: "Go out of Europe", they mean their Christian European countries, firstly and of course, they are right. They have the right to protect their culture and countries. They haven't say: "Go out of Bosnia!" They are not racist. They only want to protect their country as you do it too. As a lesson for all Muslims what you need to visit is Prijedor from the Muslims genocide in the 1990-s, which is town and world record holder of biggest mass graves, most mass graves in one place, most concentration camps in one place, most convicted war criminals and so one. Im from Bosnia! Its important to mention that 1889 after Berlin’s congress Europa “gifted” Bosnia to Austria-Hungary as if we were a thing! So we didnt accept that and they took Bosnia by brutal force burning Sarajevo twice, making genocide, our language was forbidden… After this until WWI we were under Austria-Hungary where they took our rights and resources! After that Serbs and croatians are permanently doing genocide after genocide - in total 11 genocide! Bosnia was muslim country, today we are like palestine…thank to Europa

We native European ppl(i.e. Bosniaks) are not used to food that has a lot of spices, as is the case with people of Asian or African food culture and origin.

Bosnian people have gone through some 4 or 5 genocides and explosion of Muslims since the fall of the Ottoman Empire so one generation after another people are in a lot of suffering so don't have much expectations from the people. Site seeing is really cool as almost everywhere you have these fresh natural wells of water and it is a very mountainous region. Every city is special in its own way and there are remnants of Bosnian culture in the ethnically cleansed parts of Bosnia you will be surprised to sense its old lost hospitality, culture and candor that is missing from some of them. Also visit the Tunnel of hope and then you can plan online whatever else interests you and you will know where to go.

If you go to Mostar check out the Mehmed Pasha Koski Mosque looking at the old bridge. You can climb up the minaret and enjoy the most beautiful view and eat at the Urban Taste of Orient with balcony seats, enjoy the amazing food. Salam Alaykum
