I was watching the film “The Last Samurai” and I was interested in a possible (perhaps prehistory) physical link between the Zen and Folk philosophies, linguistics, and warrior traditions of the native-american tribes and ancient Japan. Perhaps they have some common ancestry that affected their world view before Western expansion.

Everything started in Africa.... mathematics , science and astrology that we know today , it's thanks to these black people from Africa! Europeans came to Africa without any knowledge, they learned from the Africans and when they returned to Europe, they portrayed Africans as animals ... many European scientist( so called scientist), went to Africa for a while and when they returned to Europe , suddenly they are claiming to be intelligent 😁.... Phytagoras, Plato , Einstein, Tesla , Darwin , Archimedes, Newton and many more .... all of them have either went to Africa( iraq, egypt etc...) to learn what they know! This proves that they didn't discover or invented anything, they just copied what the Africans knew and changed the name of these things( that's the only thing they did,name changing) ..... If we really want to know REAL SCIENCE AND REAL KNOWLEDGE ABOUT THE EARTH AND THE UNIVERSE, we should learn about ancient Africans way of life and way of seeing things!

@mattkeita3448
@mattkeita3448 3 года назад
The fall of the Mali empire is the cause of all west African issues. If we have a leadership since medieval times we never will suffer from the transatlantic slave trade and the whole world will be a better place. No racism issue because black people will live in the richest empire ever existed and the wealth gap definitely will be less.
@Morphman19
@Morphman19 2 года назад
@@mattkeita3448 Transatlantic slave trade had the majority of slaves provided by Africans. African colonisation didn’t start until the 1880s which by then slavery was outlawed by the major powers on the Atlantic. The only thing you can claim is the couple of small European trading enclaves around the coasts or the small expansion into Algeria by the French. Slavery wasn’t the catalyst for colonialism rather the resources.

@@gostavoadolfos2023 that's was very understanable from what you wrote. Some simple answers could be that the resources from the coast properly weren't sufficient. Technology, africans have been mining since "pre historic" times, so it may have been a preference/familiarity to mining, that could have been the reason. At some points the emperors also owned some of the salt mines in Northern West Africa. So the trade could have been for diplomatic reasons. Since the relationship between the manding and berbers have been very volitile throughout history. Like ancient raid of manding settlements, and the almohavids and marrocan attacks on Ghana and Songhai.

@General Grievous ehhh. There's a lot of issues with calling Jakob Fugger the richest man ever. The was done by estimating the value of his entire business, which in reality he only owned a decent amount of it with his brothers and children owning the rest of it. The article claiming so did it for clickbait to highlight an extremely influential, but largely anonymous person in the early modern period of Europe.

Mansa Kankan Musa - The Richest African Warrior Musa I was the tenth Mansa (sultan or king) of Mali. His reign was between 1312 and 1337 AD. He was an extremely powerful leader and under his leadership Mali was able to conquer 24 cities. He had a great deal of nick names and titles, including the ‘Lion of Mali’ and ‘Conqueror of Ghanata’. One of his nicknames, ‘Lord of the Mines of Wangara’, was due to the fact he was in control of all the gold mines there. This contributed to the fact he was exceptionally rich - his contemporaries described him as “inconceivably wealthy”. Both Time and the BBC have commented on his wealth from a modern view point, with the latter declaring him THE RICHEST MAN OF ALL TIME This European is babbling false notions

But it’s infested with waring tribes, rebels, corruption and criminals. Look at your leaders instead of what europeans did a hundred years ago and prior. Instead of building the ecconomy creating Jobs they take a bribe from Asia, Europe or north/south America stuffing their own pockets in exchange for contracts on extracting minerals instead of helping their people. Sundiata stems from Sogolon Diatta, meaning Sogolon's Lion as according to the griots the first time he stood up was to protect his mother, Sogolon Conde(also why he's known as the Lion King). Keita means taking back his inheritance by going back to seize back his throne and finally, griots were and still are more than just singers; they're historians and the keeper of our past. Not all history is written ; for example the first human rights charter wasn't the Magna Carta , at the same time we had the Kurukan Fuga Charter at the founding of the Mande empire, also the result of Soundiata's and other clan leaders work (equal rights for all citizen including women and slaves, social peace, right to education, women's rights, food security, regulating relations between socials groups, self expression and more..). On a fun side note, Mali also means hippopotamus.

Wow, reading your comment about "Sogolon Diatta" made me realise how similar the word for lion is to ours here in ghana, Akans call lion Djatta as you call is Diatta, wow , wow

His 'generosity' given his short stay may have been a very deliberate and well calculated move to show the Sultan who was really boss by completely wrecking their economy, upsetting the balance of wealth then moving on. That's a boss move if you ask me.

@@TheKing60210 These are two questions and a complicated topic. Poor partly because of colonialism but not only. The corruption is another topic and not only a problem in Africa. But it's getting better in several African countries. What I heard from Ghana or Kenya for example is that they doing pretty well for subsaharan standards. Africa is catching up and has the potential to be the future.
