SRK-Kajol and their friendship is a beautiful relationship but one might not want to call it friendship as it means way too much for them to put a label on it. It's just pure emotion and geninue fondness. As for their spouses being jealous is just media fuelled rumor and gossip. If Ajay was jealous and restricting Kajol from working with SRK, how come majority of the films she chooses to be a part of is with SRK paired opposite her. It's nothing of that sort but media just makes it up. Gauri also has never had issues with Kajol.

No, he never said he would have married Kajol. If he had it would have been in this video lol. I honestly don't think they would work as a romantic couple. They're both married to people with opposite personalities from theirs. Shahrukh and Kajol are both hot-headed, passionate, and emotional people, (This video was a bit misleading about SRK. He may be more quiet than Kajol but he is never calm.) while Gauri and Ajay are much more grounded and calm. I don't know as much about Kajol and Ajay, but Gauri is absolutely Shahrukh's anchor. When he is restless, she can bring him peace. The money and fame don't go to his head because she keeps him down to earth. They built their lives together from nothing and they complete each other. Shahrukh and Kajol feed off each other and amplify each other's energy because they are alike, but at the end of the day they both need their calm, grounded counterparts to go home to. Twin flames but not matching puzzle pieces. Their friendship is beautiful but it really bothers me when people insist that they're secretly in love.
