My muscovy does the same thing when they want to get fed. At a young age they chirp and whistle but when they mature they start hissing at you from a distance if they want food
Went canoeing on a river In Pennsylvania today. Ran into one of these guys. He was all about any food scraps we would give him, then started making that Predator sound when the food was gone.
Ok. Got it. When my muscovy ducks are adults and make this sound, I'll stay away. Stepdad's stupid dogs killed my two mallard ducks and one peking duck died unexpectedly months later. My stepdad got three muscovy ducks. He got two and once my peking duck died, he got the third muscovy duck. I can't wait until they're adults. They're seven months old. One's white with black dots on her head. Two's just like this but more black all over. Less white. Green and purple feathers. I didn't know that I could get muscovy ducks. It depends on them. Either I can pick them up easy peasy or go to war with them. I miss my old ducks. They were four years old and bonded with me. I easily carried them. Now I have to start over with these ducks. I like animals but they don't like me. They run from me, scratch me and peck me. They're aggressive. Idk what to do so they can warm up to me. 🥺
I have this ducks to they are ao cool and sweet i have one in black white and brown the black one is my favorite his name is entoni and when he make that sound i every time laugh and give him a kiss while he doing that whit his hair.the have a flushy belly hahah
if he makes that sound he’s trying to tell you to back off if he does it repeatedly it’s happy or trying to communicate with you and yeah normally the male ones are very nice and wholesome
Hm. I can eat ducks from restaurants. I treated my old ducks as pets and treat my new ducks as pets. They make me so happy. They're so cute and soft. Fluffy. They're harder to carry than my other ducks. 😊
