Too many people on RU-vid play their instruments with the emotional range of a peanut. It's nice to see that this guy is obviously having a blast playing the drums and has a smile on his face throughout! Great job dude! Keep it up!
I hear what you say! That’s why I try to play with a passion that matches my story; I am a drummer who can only use his right arm due to early birth but it never stopped me in reaching my goals! Got my Masters degree in drumming in 2015! Here’s my try at the song; ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Zo5QEwjkvh4.html All the best!
"Too many people on RU-vid play their instruments with the emotional range of a peanut." My viewing experience is actually the opposite, especially with piano music or god forbid violin, there's an annoying tendence of overacting to the disadvantage of good performance.
An important rule in musical stage craft; You can't fake having a good time. You gotta love it to perform at your best. This guy gets that. Talent and dedication count for a lot.... But it's love, the sheer joy of playing that will always carry you through, even give you the drive to master something. Cooper loved playing this. Obviously.
The finale is amazing! I could rewatch it all day long. Also, at 4:17 it looks like you had a nice save there. Never missed a beat at all and the music kept on coming. Great video!!
This is full of acrobats! About strength of hitting something, and spinning sticks! There is so much space there to do some musically fill in, but he is just do some strenght out of that thin arms! Awesome! Could not amaze moree!!
Please keep this snare for all of your newer videos!!! That Pearl Export snare just wasn't doing the job imo, this metal snare sounds amazing, especially paired with that beautiful kit! What are the specs for it?
Ah that's a shame, it's a beautiful kit. His kit at home sounds nice too, but he just needs to upgrade the snare imo. Steel/aluminum snares just give a much nicer crack, and there's usually not as many overtones as a Pearl Export snare.
Kraftydrums It's definitely his kit, he just keeps it at drumeo so it's there when he needs it ;) Not to mention, all his gear and equipment is listed in the description
And to even us 67 at years, and female! My band comes over tonight for practice and this is one of our songs. Love playing it will certainly try my best to do a few of your rolls like you... good luck to me! Please keep doing videos.. subscribing.
Fabulous! Sometimes the effort of learning a song removes the magic for me. But your sheer joy is apparent all thru the song. I was jazzed just watching you.
New subber here, my son is your biggest fan and you are an inspiration to him so I had to subscribe. Just bought him a decent used pacific F series set with cymbals to get started. This is my favorite band, well done!!! Best I’ve ever seen. Hopefully I can someday buy him a dream kit.
Great cover cooper! Such cool tom stuff on this song, Muse is a great band! Have you played on the Zildjian S cymbals, and if so what do you think of them? The reason I ask is because I play them, and I'm pretty happy so far!
I love the kit that your playing I like the zildjan cymbals your playing the drumheads your using and the drumsticks (I play dw drums I use sabian cymbals i use Evans drumheads and Vic firth drumsticks)
hey Casey, I know you use pearls, I'm a starter and I need a cheap set of pearls, I found a 4 piece roadshow by pearl, is that a good deal to you? other than that great cover 👍
heyy great job!! question, how do you end songs? like in tripples or doubles or just jamming RLRLRL. Need to play in church saturday. So please can you help
You think this song is a good one as a first song to learn? My 7-year-old son just started drum lessons. His teacher asked him about his musical preferences, but he doesn't have any yet. Do you have some suggestions I can show my son?
Hey man huge fan of Muse and you!! Awesome job, as an audio technician i love your drum sounds and love when you spoke about what mics you used, and noticed your new Sennheiser mics on the toms. So would you be able to put the mic list in the description with the rest of the gear? Cheers. PS Bought a demon drive off of your recommendation - fricking killer!!!!!!!!!!
Hey, today I found out that we had the same drum inductor. He taught you at Georgia State when you played quads. His name was Josh or "Wolfman." Do you happen to remember him?
