Fuck. How is this album almost 12 years old already. I remember getting it on release day. Man...time really flies.

Always felt that this one was rly underrated in terms of the technicality. Dom's drumming is sharp and elaborate the whole way through, and the bass during the "We must run" part is imo one of the hardest sections to play in all of Muse's discography. Love that they've been pulling this one out for the WOTP tour as it's a great example of how technically talented these three are

I was casually reading 1984 while listening to my usual playlist, and this song comes on and here I am actually listening to the lyrics and I hear "you'll wake the thought police" I'm like woah wait a sec... I keep listening and there are so many references to the book so ofc I google it and this song was based on the book and here I am freaking out and none of my friends really listen to muse or have read the book so I can't freak out with them...

when i first started listening to this band 8 years ago, i stumbled across this song, and thought, "wow i wanna see this live", and i get to today.

To be able to keep making incredible music for all these years, the talent of this band is something very, very rare.

This was my first live show era. Just saw them again last night in Huddersfield, they still amaze me every time. If you get the chance to go, do it, its so worth it.

My favorite contemporary band. They have everything, introspective, scientific, technologic, poetic, keyboards, message, romance, humour, best band, great bass, drums and touring keyboard. I'm in my fifties and just "discovered them" last year, so I'm still getting caught up.. But the last two albums I loved. Had to sell my concert tickets, at face value to a fan, last winter in Oakland. Hope they come back.
