@@user-qe6dk7kl9l last time saw coldplay was about 3 years ago. at that time it was no contest for me, coldplays live show was, simply, better than any other show ive ever seen. that might have changed though, as coldplay has stoped touring for the foreseable future and the last time i saw muse was (i think ) about 4-5 years ago. The foo fighters is another band ive seen several times that i found a better live experience than muse.
Well, I've never seen Muse live, but unless you've seen every band live in the World, I highly doubt you can claim that a band is the best, period. For one, I did see Kreator live. It's the best band I've seen so far, and I've seen my fair share. Dudes are 180 years old and still rocking like they were 25.
l am 55 years old i have seen many many rock bands over the years, rush will always be my favorite but muse puts on the best live performances i have ever seen
I'm 58 and i've seen Pink Floyd, AC/DC, Deep Purple, Rolling Stones, U2, Bob Dylan, Lou Reed and many others live, but there's no doubt the 6 times I've seen Muse Live were THE BEST moments of all!!!
Muse is one of those rare bands that sounds just as good live as they do on a studio production. They always look like they're having a blast on stage as well.
idk why, but Map of the Problematique has always been one of my favorite muse tunes. Knights of Cydonia, Hysteria, and a lot of Origin of Symmetry too.
One of the best live bands. Their earlier music blows the current albums away. They have a ton of good old stuff. Hysteria, Stockholm Syndrome, Butterflies and Hurricanes live at Wembley Stadium 2007
Sunburn, Unintended, Sober, Bliss, Microcuts, Darkshines, Stockholm Syndrome, Butterflies and Hurricanes, Endlessly, Thoughts of a Dying Atheist.. There's too many of them.
@John Campbell - Yeah I know, it's hard to pick only 2-3 songs, especially for bands with many albums. But in a way it also means you can't be wrong, so that's something :)
Long Island Avenger yup bro i feel you, it’s fairly easy, but the first times I played it I got cramps all the time, specially on the pinky, now it’s just easy, really good strength and stamina practice
@@chefhumpty6126 You or anyone.. I love to watch people play Muse.. I play drums and Almost have the entire Glastonbury 2004 concert down pat! So I am going to either record it one at a time or maybe do 2 or 3 and post :)
Muse is incredible! They are one of the most amazing bands to see live. I’ve had the pleasure of seeing them live twice and they melted my face off both times!!!
From now forever you are my favorite reaction channel. You are so humble, sweet, you have that positive vibe about you. More important: you respect the song, don't interrupt it..the reaction is there, on your face. You made my evening. I will watch your every past and future video. You are awesome. Love from Croatia. :)
People allways forget the incredibel bassplayer! He sings backingvocals, plays a steady actually pretty hard bass, he has been seen playing drums, guitar and keys, in concerts. Ohh and he has two songs that he sings in one of their albums
Muse was such a good band. Their “Bliss” is one of my favourite songs of all time. If you would ever react to that, I would be eternally grateful. I personally prefer the studio version, but I have yet to hear all live versions.
The live version intro with the guitar and solo at the end is blissful to me. I prefer it live due to that. Just feels more raw and powerful with that solo at the end that is not in the studio version.
Am I the only muser who actually appreciates the more creative songs like Take A Bow or Exogenesis? Why is every "Muser" all "BUT MAH DISTORTED GUITARS"
I saw them live at Madison Square Garden and it was the best show I’ve ever been to. Matt the lead would even do solos while the other guys took a break. Man is nonstop. Check out their version of “Feeling good”. Matt plays piano on that one.
When I saw them in Atlanta in 2017. It was in August. Those British guys aren't used to Southern Heat and Humidity. But they still had massive energy! I was wrong,I was only 57 when I saw them with my son. Thirty Seconds To Mars opened for them ! Incredibly talented artists!
Muse, my favourite band! I recommend listening to "New Born" and "Butterflies & Hurricanes" both (live at Wembley). I like their recent stuff just as much as their older stuff too though. I saw Pray + Darkside live, absolutely insane.
You can see the Jimi Hendrix inspiration in every single Muse performance, I love the inventive riffs they throw into their live shows. They don't try to reproduce their own sound, they just play the song the way they want and it makes for as great performance.
To blow you completely away.....Butterflies and Hurricanes Live at Wembley. Combine all you've seen with virtuoso piano, wrapped in rock perfection...😎🇦🇺❤😎
Muse is a great group Jamel. Glad you liked it. The father of its lead singer was the rhythym guitarist in the early 60s song, Telstar by the Tormados, another good song.
I love Muse! You should check out "Time is running out", "Resistance", or "Stockholm Syndrome". They have so many great songs! Live versions recommended.
Listen to Muse - Time Is Running Out Muse - Supermassive Black Hole Muse - Starlight Muse - Feeling Good Muse - Uprising Muse - Neutron Star Collision (Love Is Forever) Muse - Undisclosed Desires Muse - Unintended I'm a huge fan of Muse. I've had the privilege of seeing them live and I was completely speechless. I want to see them more often, of course!
Thank you Jamel!! I love Muse! Please do more! They have a song called "Butterflies and Hurricanes" that you have to hear/see! Watch their live version from Wembley Stadium, 2006 (7?)!! Amazing song !
Hey Jamel, a BIG reason why I like your reactions is that you WANT to like whatever you are listening to. I LOVE your positivity! The world needs much more of that! Keep it up! :)
I was so lucky to see this tour in Birmingham in the UK. It was beyond electrifying. Will never see another band like this. Matt is a force to be reckoned with vocally. If you get the chance to see them then go. Beyond anything else I've ever seen live. God given talent in each band member. Keep safe
Hi Jamel and thank you for your great reaction againg. I have wasted my time sometimes to speaking with evolutionists even from highest status but no one ever even in University had no clue why we have something like music. It doesn't make us more fit against predators nor make us more resilient to microbites and yet we all can hear it and it can give us feelings and different moods... To me music is in a sense proof of something devine. Even if we speak hundreds of different languages in this world, every one will hear the music the same way and it won't isolate anyone ever. It is like an universal language just for emotions and ofc sometimes with meaningful lyrics you boost it even further. When Mozart wrote to himself his requim, you can even today feel, what he felt at the time. Music isn't just a piece of enetrtainment, it is a big part of what we truly are.
I saw Muse on this same tour (the U.S. leg). I had never seen them live before then, and wasn't really a fan UNTIL I saw them live. They put on an absolutely fantastic concert. I was blown away.
Saw them live many many years ago when Hysteria was released. They put on a great live show, great example of what a live show should be...if ur not deaf, lost ur voice and drenched in sweat at the end of the concert what are we doing with our lives🤪
Love this song, especially when I'm at work and not digging the toxic environment. I just head outside, put the earbuds on & crank this tune up and I'm able to deal with the it a few more hours til the day is over. Then repeat the next day! This song always lights a fire under me & puts a smile on my face. My own personal rebellion!
Jamel, You should do a reaction video of Gary Clark Jr.'s songs "When My Train Pulls In" & "This Land". If B.B. King & Hendrix had a son he would be Gary Clark Jr. He is one of the most underrated new artists right now. Hopefully your videos can help change that for him.
Each band member of Muse is so very talented. You really need to watch Matt Bellamy (Muse Frontman) play the piano sometime. Maybe a live performance of Butterflies and Hurricanes? Or Exogenesis?
muse is absolutely amazing live. I seen them in Detroit and it was probably one the best live shows I have ever seen and I've seen one hell of a lot of concerts.
I think you are one of the only real genuine reactors on YT. I really enjoy your reviews and way you look and communicate with us as viewers of your channel. I hope you also react to the heavier stuff like Behemoth "Bartzabel", Dimmu Borgir, Batuskha or Prog-rock like Ayreon "The day the world breaks down" etc. Keep up the good music and reviews! Greetz from The Netherlands, the country of Floor Jansen, Anneke van Giersbergen, Sharon den Adel, Simone Simons etc etc etc.
I was lucky to be there for this very show. The first time I’d seen muse live, I’ve since seen them another 4 (I think) times. They get better each time... if you haven’t, look at something like Map of the Problematic or they’re very early showing of showbiz. Amazing stuff. If you ever get chance to see muse live, snap those tickets up! You won’t regret it.
I was there at that actual gig and stayed totally sober haha. It's an outdoor venue (cricket club). I've seen them twice outdoors, once indoors and their massive heavy, delicate, complex sound is well suited to an outdoor venue. Super Massive band to watch live.. :) One of the best gigs I've been to ( venue great too). They put on a great show, top musicians and generate a fantastic atmosphere. Great reaction man.
What I love about this group. Is that all their albums have a certain specific theme to them. It's like listening to groups Rush and Yes and their concept albums.
