Test-trying out how far you can get with: The Lark Ascending, Vaughan Williams (1st part).
Made only with the free music composition/notation software MuseScore 4 , free extremely realistic Muse Sounds and excellent free MuseFX effects. (No external mixing or mastering, no external sample libraries, effects nor audio-recording etc. used)
I set MuseScore 4 playback sample rate to 48 kHz and recorded this video with the free OBS Studio.
For the optimal music experience use 96kHz 32 bits (Float) audio format settings.
(N.b. Of course the solo violin is far from perfect, f.e. it has very few articulations, but for an impression you don't need more than this, and it has a great potential and possibly in a future updates there will be a pianorol-window where you can adjust articulations etc.in the timeline. And the solo Violin high D is missing so it's also missing in this piece, should be added in next update. and the solo Violin often sounds like 2 violins. And sustains sometimes last much longer than written. And the ProEQ settings are not saved all the time, so you need to save screenshots of all the Pro-EQ-settings for the next session. But it's a free application ! )

You're really bringing these sounds to life. You should do a tutorial on how you use the effects. Great work.

Add ProEQ,a tiny bit of Delay and a tiny bit of Reverb to each instrument, in that order. Use the ProEQ to color the instrument, the Delay to give it a little bit of space/air and the same for Reverb . Give each instrument a Master or SimpleEQ for fine-tuning. Before all that lower the volume-sliders of all instruments-channels and the master- channel to a quarter till a half as a starting point, and later give each instrument more volume with ProEQ or their volume slider if the dynamics aren't sufficient. And I use mf as the maximum dynamics, seldom I use f. Pan each instrument to the place you want them to be. Give the master-channel a ProEQ,Compressor,Reverb and Master or SimpleEQ. But most important listen to a lot of classical music.😊

@@dauphindauphin6607 Oh, these are precious informations👍❤. I only get muddy sound (the violin is the worst), and didn't know what settings should be used. (Nevertheless, with 8Go RAM, it's not enough to run Musescore perfectly.)

Wow, very impressive. I've used MuseScore in the past, but now I will certainly be downloading MuseScore 4. Thanks so much for sharing.
