Opened its doors in February 1996 by decision of the Government of Catalonia, the Museum of History of Catalunya is so far my favorite museum in Barcelona. Inwas so lucky because that day, the admission was free due to a maintenance work on the building’s airconditioning system.
It displays exhibits and collections starting from Pre-historic, to the Roman period, and up to the modern times of the nation. Their collctions from the Spanish Civil Ware era was also an emotional section.
