This came out of nowhere and quickly became one of my favorite anime of all time. Incredible animation, great storytelling, well-written, great character development... it has everything

One of the most visually beautiful anime's ever produced. From the background scenes to the animation, just stunning. Amazing story and fantastic characters and character development. I'd watch this for the next 50 years if they kept producing it.

this anime is 10/10 without a doubt and a continuation just makes me excited

As a Light novel and web novel reader, knowing the fates and conclusions to all of these characters stories, seeing them animated and voice acted this beautifully is really something else. And even more so because it's the very beginning of their journeys, the weird nostalgia from a story I read over a couple of weeks is strange but nice at the same time.

I thought it was the trailer for season two, I really want to see the entire work animated. at least it had an OVA to give solace. It's certainly one of the best works I've ever seen, it manages to convey the "feelings" of the world and the characters very well.

This, Crunchyroll, was best anime of the year. The director and the animators did a fantastic job. There were a lot of really really good shows last year, but that only goes to show how good Mushoku Tensei actually is! I'm so hyped for the next chapter of the journey!!!!!!!!!

Best isekai ever. Amazing world building, animation, music, and, above all, character moments. People aren't perfect, and we have to own up to our mistakes and actively try to improve is a powerful theme, and it's so well done in Mushoku Tensei.

everyone who is involved in this should be proud of it... its just a pure masterpiece the writer, the illustrator, the animators, etc, everything is portrayed beautifully the story, the world, the characters, I just cant get enough of this anime.

i never get tired of watching this trailer from the moment i saw it back in 2019 i knew this anime was going to be minimum a 9/10 and it turned out 10/10 my favorite anime ever!

I can't wait for season 2. This series has been so a breath of fresh air to the genre. Similar to how Re Zero is just not as dark.

Well... 2 months ago after anime have finished and i found some motivation - i started to read mushoku from LN 1 and reached LN 16 and after that switched to WN version and recent night finished it until the inscription that I did not want to see - The end - That was magnificent journey, and even if some side stories exist i still feels empty inside after all those days and nights, most days I read until 4-5 am, no regrets about that. Thanks to Rifujin for that amazing worldbuilding and characters.

Am I completely insane or is there not a single frame of this trailer in the actual show ??? Like apart from Sylphie running her hand on the wheat and Eris fighting those wolves and even those look nothing like the ones in the show. They made this whole trailer with amazing animation just to throw it away and give us even better looking stuff ?? Or have I finally lost it ?

Bit surprised that a trailer that came out in 2020 is only just being uploaded to Crunchyroll NOW, but still really nice to see. It feels like it has a few tiny scenes that weren’t quite shown in the anime in the end, or ones that have become outtakes that might get use later on. Truly can’t wait for season three. What we’ve had so far has been absolutely incredible.😭👏🏼👏🏼❤️

Reminder: Season 1 aired in split cour The recent batch of episodes that aired a while back was simply “the rest of season 1” aka cour 2/part 2 of season 1 It’s actually quite common for anime to do this Haikyu (to the top) season 4 did the same, and other anime has done this as well Sometimes other sites just make it worse by mislabeling them as a separate season making people more confused.

You watch hundreds of isekai and there's a well known formula there... but this... this was something special that transcended the genre, kept us on our toes with subversions of expectations and really gave us the magic of reincarnation. Masterpiece.
