Just stumbled on your videos mate. Thanks for sharing. I'm looking at doing a wild camp for the SANDS charity next year so have been trawling through plenty of vids for some inspiration and ideas. Yours seem to hit he spot. Being a fellow Yorkshireman it helps seeing place on your doorstep. Keep it and thanks.
is that poison ivy? my creek is covered in that shit. why I don't go in there. we have wild reishi and turkey tail growing here. my cousin grows shitake, blue/pearl/pink/king oysters, chicken of the woods and cordiseps to sell at the local farmers markets. He keeps trying to grow morels but they don't do well in cultivation apparently.
If your whittling skills were on par with your sense of humour you'd be the one running the annual spoon convention. Can't wait for the next wild camp, i'm sure Croatia will be fun, but I'm guessing you won't be able to rib the other half like you do Joe. I hope that mop of his never changes, it's nature at its finest, untouched and wild.
You didn't really expect England to win did you ? Hahaha..... Really dig your flatcap, sorry to hear you don't have a whippet but did you have a ferret down ya trousers..? Nice little vid matey & there are some great positive vibes coming form you both. Cheers.
+IOW Dave The mushroom we cooked was a brown birch bolete. Joe took the cauliflower fungus and told me it was exceptional!! Think I'll go back today and get the rest of it.
+eastsaxon67 I am using the DD super light and Joe is using the frontline. For comfort you cant beat the frontline but it does take up quite a bit of pack space.
I have the frontline and the 3x3 tarp but like you say they are big and i want to start getting around more so thinking about the super light range, is it worth spending more money.
