I am glad that you and your in laws loved this recipe. Maybe they have never eaten real chilli mushroom. There are many mistakes. 1. Mushrooms are fried with cornstarch also to give crispyness. 2. She didn't add water but added cornstarch😄😄 I mean cornstarch is added to make sauce thick but she is different😄😄 3. I will not say that she didn't added MSG(Ajinomoto) as it is harmful but try to use knorr aromat powder. I am a chef from 5 star hotel. This is how we make chilli mushroom
