Amazing how many people are incapable of using GOOGLE!!! 1. Neither Slipknot nor Mushroomhead started the whole wearing mask thing. That was done by a Band named (Edit: It was pointed out that the "The Residents" were actually the first band to use mask in common times. )Gwar. 2. Mushroomhead came out 3 years before Slipknot. 3. There is no beef or animosity between the two bands. Sid from Slipknot has done work with Mushroomhead. While the members of Mushroomhead give Slipknot credit for the resurgence in their music. 4. The only "Beef" is between the ignorant fans of either band. The rest of us Maggots know what GREAT Music is, and that we can enjoy BOTH bands equally.

2xkiller, Another band that wore masks that were around before Slipknot and Mushroomhead and were an influence on both bands early albums is a band called Mr. Bungle. Mr. Bungle is the band that Mike Patton from Faith No More was in before he joined FNM.
Anyone who still hates Slipknot because they like Mushroomhead #1 Both bands respect each other as musicians #2 They both hit mainstream around the same time #3 The music they play is barely similar #4 They want to tour together #5 It's music don't dislike it because someone else doesn't #6 Slipknot didn't rip them off with the masks they wore masks before they exploded and it was so people didn't know who they were. Plus there were bands with masks before both of them such as Mr. Bungle, Gwar, and many more.
That's unfortunate, Gusto. I really like both bands, both put on a fantastic show, and them touring together would be amazing. They're really robbing the fans with all this senseless quarreling.

The first time I listened to them when I was 7, I was in the car with my mom, and dad. My dad still loves this shit, I do too. Still going strong in 2016. The masks are just badass also, I really like them.
I saw them live with all three singers, and they all did a hell of a job. On the album, they got their parts, and they do them well, each in his own style, and with a good balance, in my honest opinion.
Head puts on a Great show and are very kind w their time and availability after shows, gave away posters and signed them, took pics. Good dudes. That poster is still on my jam room wall.
+Heretic I personally like more slipknot songs but i love both bands they have their own unique style which i appreciate so long live MSH fans and Maggots

Im pretty new to MRH, heard Solitare a couple years back but just recently got really into them after seeing them at Mayhem. I will admit i was expecting more clean Waylon vocals. Something about his voice reminds me a lot of Danzig fucking love it. But either way kickass band and another badass album.
Waylon does both clean and screaming vocals on this album. check out the songs "Our Apologies", "How Many Times", "Devils Be Damned", "Son Of 7", "This Cold Reign", and "For Your Pleasure".
***** Well with the danzig comment, listen to 'come on'. His vocals have that power. And hell yea saw them 2 years ago, kickass band and at some points MRH remind me of them with their intros
I love both slipknot and mushroomhead, there's no reason to not. They both make amazing metal, fucking posers fighting for one is better than the other, if you were a real metal head you'd just appreciate they are both quality.
The best Mushroomhead years were definitely 2013-2015: All three leads - Waylon, Jeffrey Nothing, and J Mann - along with Skinny, St1tch, Tommy Church, and Shmotz. Throw in Jackie LaPonza for some amazing female vocals (and awesome stage presence) and it was a helluva show. Saw them 6 times in that span including their Halloween and Nightmare before Christmas old-school shows.
I hope Waylon is not feel left out or anything with j Mann being back. Granted j Mann's great and I love him because of how he sings and everything. But Waylon has been around for a while now and is one of my favorite vocalists I have heard in some time. To me he's got his hardcore side but half way through a song he does a softer bit which is awesome. Nice wide range of vocals. Never the less I have grown to love Waylon a lot and seriously look forward to each new song he's involved in. Its kind of a surprise for me. Awesome video y'all !!
