A man with a huge intellect and heart and one cannot believe his age, because he has more energy and passion still, than most will ever know. Bravo Mr. Lowenthal and thank you always.....

An absolute legend. I was so privileged to have him as my major teacher at Juilliard.

Some of the most remarkable footage of this living legend that exists. It's everything I love about him. Who else in the entire world has all this music available to them on demand?!

There’s so little (good) information about music specifically as a tool for carrying narratives. Knew within the first 5 seconds that this guy knew his stuff. Thanks.

I remember when I was at Juilliard to play for him before auditioning, and he asked me to come to the actual studio class and perform in front of his students, I was absolutely anxious and nervous. I played an Etude of Chopin, a Sonata of Beethoven and some Debussy. He loved my Chopin and extremely kind to me, and wished that he would see me in the near future at the school. Very charming yet powerful man ❤️ some students called him J-Lo 😆

Thoughtful playing, almost like you’re making it up as you your playing. Constant discovery. That’s what he’s saying, I think.
