Good video. I never heard of the article "1000 true fans" until today. I've pretty much had the same idea for a decade. Right now, as a winemaker, I have 500 true fans and make a profit after all expenses, of $340 per true fan and make $170k per year. My goal is to get to about 600 true fans and get them to $500 profit each in about 5 more years . So, it does work, if one really knows that those fans want and you know how to treat them and you go after those with enough disposable income.
