Music By The Book featuring Dr Ivor Miller 

Music By the Book series, which is sponsored by the Mayor's Office of Music & Entertainment, will feature Dr. Ivor Miller to talk about his new book which is a translation of the sacred language used by the Abakua in Cuba. We'll also listen and see how the Abakua traditions originally from West Africa (southern Nigeria and Cameroon) have made their way into popular Afro-Cuban music.
