The Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square is one of the greatest blessings in my life. My father worked for the Church until retirement and as a little boy I spent many days, weeks, and months on Temple Square. The Choir and Orchestra have healed/uplifted and given hope in my heart many times under different conditions and I am so humbled by their universal messages and spirit. I thank my Father in Heaven, our Savior Jesus Christ and the Holy Ghost for inspiring this great work....I LOVE THE TABERNACLE CHOIR AT TEMPLE SQUARE!!
I love listening to the music that brings the spirit of the Lord into my heart and home every time. God bless you wonderful choir members and voices of light, heart, revelation and everlasting joy.
This special program was so uplifting. The musical numbers that were chosen are some of my very favorites. Thank you all for the wonderful blessing you give to all of us.
5 organists at once. Crazy & fabulous. Have to admire the person responsible for all those organists and their individual parts. As usual this was sensational and spectacular. Thank you for such great entertainment. The Alleluia Chorus can’t be outdone !
That was a pretty awesome number, especially when I realized that Richard Elliott, with the most difficult parts, had no music - he did it completely from memory. Amazing!
You'll never know the extent and powerful influence of your reach. You have touched many hearts and been an instrument in God's hands. "Thank you" doesn't seem to be enough.
Just inspired music from our Lord Jésus Christ! God bless tabernacle choir and his restablished church on earth!! Thank you very much for this greatfull moments!! From France
always a joy to spend time with the Tabernacle Choir We have been to several live concerts over the years Absolutley wonderful Certainly a crowning jewel of the church
When it seems like there is no more good out in the world just listen to the Tabernacle Choir at Temple Square. The quality of music that's provided is above all. The message that is shared with the music connects you with God and His son Jesus Christ. I will forever have a soft spot in my heart for this quality music.
I one time was traveling through Utah and stopped in and heard rehearsal. The only time I’ve been able to see or hear them in person. The waves of the Holy Spirit lapped from the front to the back of the room. It was wonderful.
This is a powerful reminder of the rich blessing music adds to life. It is one of Gods best gifts to us. Thank you for the effort and work that rolls week to week.
I am a member of the Blairsville Branch and go to my local mountain culture events. I would love to hear songs created by the southern Appalachian mountain people, their own creations of singing, and worshiping the Savior. Recreated and arranged for the Tabernacle Choir if it were possible would be a great missionary tool in my area. I believe the people of this area would really appreciate being honored by this.
The Tabernacle Choir & Orchestra at Temple Square is also one of the main reasons I love learning and sharing the gospel of Jesus Christ besides the powerful and inspiring messages of the prophets and general authorities during the general conferences because of how divine and sublime the message every song brings. Kudos to Mack Wilberg, Ryan Murphy, Richard Elliot, Andrew Unsworth, Clay Christiensen, the other organists (whose names I do not recall forgive me), the orchestra, and last but not the least, the 360-member choir for your faith and dedication and for 90 years of bringing stories into the music you provide. I hope I will be able to join the choir someday after my mission.
They have an amazing sound, so Heavenly. I have had the great privilege of seeing the choir live, both in Conference and rehearsing at the Tabernacle. They are absolutely wonderful.
I recorded this, when it was on television. What a beautiful concert. My father died January 31, 2020, but we watched this full concert together 5 or 6 times.
Assistir Music for a Summer Evening, é ter uma experiência sublime em todos os sentidos. Sentimos a presença do Espírito na música, nas palavras e nas imagens! Grato!
I've followed this choir and orchestra for many years. How wonderful it is to learn new aspects of the experiences I've enjoyed from backstage and frontstage. Delightful!
When the one interviewed said it was hard to stand for long periods of time, I thought why couldn't they sit and sing and the cameras focus on the scenes of nature more. But what do I know, maybe sitting and singing wouldn't be easy either. It would be nice though to see more faces of nature instead of those singing.
