"The price of freedom is high, it always has been. And it's a price I'm willing to pay. And if I'm the only one, then so be it. But I'm willing to bet I'm not." -- Captain America
Never cared for Captain America until Chris Evans played him. Now he’s my hands down favorite, just barely on top of RDJs Stark. “That is America’s ass”
“The soldier above all others prays for peace, for it is the soldier who must suffer and bear the deepest wounds and scars of war.” ~ Douglas MacArthur
"If someone helps you, or treats you with even the slightest respect, they are never to be forgotten. For they are one of the few that really makes life worth living."
these are the voyages of the star ship enterprise, her mission. To explore strange new worlds, to seek out new life and new civilisations, to BOLDLY GO WHERE NO MAN HAS GONE BEFORE. and to be a better show that discovery or Picard hopefully
So much new music on the way the next few months! I have this powerful orchestral album 'Legendary' just waiting for cover art and final touches. Then a new dark and psychological album coming shortly after.. So freakin excited to share all my new work with you very soon.
"Every man has his battles, be it physical mental or emotional, it is not what you fight against that makes you strong but rather the courage you face it with" may you have a good day today whomever you are.
"For so long I fought, pomising myself to achieve my goal. In all this time I've found so many to which I gave hope and now, I am about to let them down, failing comrades, followers and even friends. I am alone against a tide that will run into me with the strenght of a thousand waves. But if this really is the end may I not fall as a coward and traitor to what I swore to our struggle. May I be a martyr which will show generations to come that their ancestors did not bow down in fear. May I fall fighting for all those who did before me. May I fall fighting... Valiant and brave."
“They are in front of us, behind us, and we are flanked on both sides by an enemy that outnumbers us 29:1. They can't get away from us now!” Chesty Puller
“War is not hell. It is . . . Something beyond our comprehension, only those who have lived and fought through it truly know what that is” - My own quote
@@MrScarecrow24 Debatable but yes, mostly true, I can't help but feel there could have been another option that would shed less blood than a full scale war. The war in it's loss of life was certainly a crime though, all the lives on both sides lost, even the Nazi's doing what they believed was right in their warped vision of the world and all the other Axis who lost their lives for their countries and their families, not for their Leader's necessarily, and the Allies weren't clear of their atrocities and crimes either, nobody came out of that war the same they went in, no country was innocent. All in all it was a very sad affair which may have been avoidable, but I can definitely see why it was deemed necessary in the end....you either died with your innocence or lived long enough to lose it...
@@kindredflame7002 That's why I was curious at how the OP was defining "crime". The horrors of the war were unthinking and truly barbaric (on all sides to at least some degree). But if that war had not been fought, 3 continents would probably have ended up under Nazi rule, if not more. There are good and justifiable reasons to GO to war, but the fact that war must happen at all is very disturbing.
@@MrScarecrow24 The reason I define it as a crime is because other than a selective few wars like WW2, there were no “bad guys” or “evil side” as most fiction depicts, so it’s just everyday people being forced in to wars and even their deaths and the civilian casualties added on to that really make it a waste of time for people to die makes really just one of humanity’s worse blunders
"I killed a man, he wasn't like them, he was just like me... he was scared like me... I fought in that battle not for the sake of honor, respect, and recognition, but for the sake for me to live to see a very future where I live in it." - Cadet Marlee
i want to tell you this for the world to see... the words of wisdom in my heart. A true hero does not fight for glory but,the people around him and his loved ones and, even if the world will fall he will always be there to fight for the people he loves.
When I listen to this, I can tell the person behind this, who is spending hours working on this… is living in their purpose, their craft… they’re calling. No matter what happens or how hard it get’s, keep going. There are people like me that need this. You are legendary. Thank you 🙏🏽
“He is not a villain, he is a broken warrior, he is not a monster, he has motives and ideals beyond your comprehension” nothing and no one is more dangerous than a broken man
This picture is the cover page of the soundtrack list from the movie "Hacksaw Ridge". A movie which tells the real story of Desmond Doss, a warrior who didn't carry a weapon and yet managed to prove that he owns the spirit of a warrior in comparison to many others who might have carried a weapon.
Desmond Doss was a real man and proved that a soldier doesn't needs to hurt another soldier to become a soldier totally shows the determination a man is willing to give with God on his side truly a beautiful story and a real man that changed the word soldier.
@@wolfangel369 Only thing is if they didnt have that hollywood style deaths where they shake their body and just dropped dead, making it seem more real.
“I do not love the bright sword for its sharpness, nor the arrow for its swiftness, nor the warrior for his glory. I love only that which they defend.”
"Did you shoot any?" "Yes, like 50 of 'em! They kept trying to attack my cousins, what the heck would you do in a situation like that?" -Napoleon Dynamite
Who ever made this song…. Thank you. It not only gave me inspiration but made me weep. Something close to spiritual. Can’t explain it but motivation is one of the side effects. Keep doing a great job ,this is one true epic!
I saw as he ran through the smoke, flying rubble and burning shrapnel. I watched him carry man after man back to our platoon. I witnessed him as he bled, cried, sweat, and broke himself again and again and again. 29 of our men, he returned that day. The soldiers he saved later called him their savior, their saint, their hero. And those he couldn't, well... before they all passed. They all kept repeating one thing before the life left from their eyes. "Thank you, Reaper." Later. We were all confused as to who that man was. We wanted to know his name, to give thanks and appreciation. But according to the commanding officers, there was no such man that day. No one knew who that man's name was. Witness accounts to this man all stated that he bore no rank on his uniform, and each of their descriptions as to what he physically looked like were all different. The last anyone had seen of him, was him carrying one of our privates back to us, who was barely holding on to life. And unfortunately, as the medic put him on the ground and started patching him up and giving him aid, the private's pulse stopped. His haunting final words were the same as the rest that had fallen with him at their side. And as if he were to go get another, he ran through a blazing wall of fire and debris that had flared up in the middle of the street in front of us from an explosive. And as it cleared, he was no where to be found. As time went on and the war ended in our victory. I was able to piece together a better name for this mysterious person that I only ever saw once, something I truly consider to be, supernatural. For someone or something, bearing so many forgotten names and faces of history's vastly unnoticed heroics, achievements and rankings. What better way to name this soul, "The Unknown Soldier". A fitting title for something bound to no flag or regime, only the duty a loyal soldier could know. A duty to his fellow man. (Sorry to let anyone down, but as a disclaimer. This story is fictional and was made up by me. Thanks to the video for inspiring this tale.)
"it'll be a difficult way with pain and sometimes feelings to surrender, but the prize is a happyness life with all what you dream in your mind, today that is come true, don't give up, you can do it."
Absolutely outstanding piece. The story, presentation and emotional qualities bestowed upon the listener invokes a multitude of moods, from uncertainty to accomplishment this has it all and more. Unlike most composers, you just get better with each release. I know this might be my bias towards your work since I do have an ear for this type of music but you Secession Studios, are a legend in the making. I said it before and will again, keep climbing and never stop. "Where the darkness begins and the light fades, only those true to themselves will endure the trial of the unknown."
every time you release a new piece, the writers' muse in me bursts free from the ashes of creative blockage, and like a mighty phoenix new life is breathed into my work. Keep up the stellar tunes! I can't wait to hear the new albums and add them to my collection.
This song and the comments reminded me of why we fight, I remember how I wondered why we fight we do our. Parents fight for our survival and now I remember why! It's because we fight to protect everything we love and not to destroy what we hate, so remember when you're about to pick a fight ask yourself if you pick it to destroy your enemy or to protect what you love. And also this song brings me bravery to do stuff!
"We sing the praises of war not for the way it makes people die no no no we sing its praise for how it makes us come alive "-some dude i dont know the name of
In womb i was formed, destined for greatness. In life i was forged, an unconquerable will. In love a was driven to do better, an immortal vow to another. To war i was called, heeding the cry for help. In battle i was tempered, strong and unbreaking. In victory was raised, higher then the foe. In defeat i was humbled, educated for the next battle. In death.....i shall stand, glorious and proud, for i have crafted a world of peace. And unto those who do harm upon another I issue a warning.....there is always more of me.
"on all sides you will find heroes kid, always remember that. War is an ugly thing and it brings out the worst of people, but when a man steps up to endure the wave, he is more than just a hero. He's a father, a son, a teacher, a steel worker, a farmer, hell he could have been homeless, but he is pushing to be more than just that. He is pushing to be more than just human."
Words cannot describe what I am feeling right now but I know that we all share one spirit through music and that's the spirit of determination facing the demon of despair.
Did someone say Succession Studios? Did someone also happen to say new album? Say no more. For I shall elope with the auditory pleasures soon to greet my ear.
A warrior is far more than fighter. To be a warrior is to live in the service of others.. A provider, protects the weak, teaches the young, speaks for those who can't speak for themselves.. fighting for them & others of which, those standing shoulder to shoulder at the front of the line.. only taking a life when there's no other option. A warrior fights and kills so others dont have to
hen the entire squad is down but the leader says "no man left behind" When the highest level player gets serious for a little bit You has created an actual masterpiece, I can see this used in trailers in the future. How I stopped worrying about the world and learned to love that armour.
When in battle, you must always show respect to your enemy by showing no mercy, and giving them a quick and painless death. In doing so, you acknowledge their cause, and stand against it respectfully. It shows that you do not trample on other's reason to fight. You may not know why they fight against you, but even so, you must always give it the respect it's due.
