Thanks for the feedback Matt, the title is a Led Zeppelin track. Normally I would just put a generic title like ‘history of Denmark Street’.. but I thought I would try something different this time
Thanks bro seems I’m getting a lot of positive feedback on this production. I hope you’re diet and training is going well for you keep up the good work and things will pay off in the long run. Dan
I think Selmers became Sound City and then REW. I believe I bought my guitar there in 1980. Also, as well as Paul Kossoff, John Mclaughlin used to be an assistant there. Kossoff told a story about Jimi Hendrix coming into the shop one day, playing some chord stuff (like in Little Wing) but not buying anything.
Great video!! I love the music and the edits of the video! Had no idea how much the importance of those buildings, Great historical buildings, and sites! 2:25 that guitar sounds amazing !!!OMG The outro music is super dope too! Have a great day and keep up the fabulous work!
thanks for the great comment, encouragement, support and positivity ..I will have a good rummage through you're channel very soon when I have time and pay ya back.. Cheers Bro
Wow what an excellent video I learned a lot there! I haven’t been down to London for some years now and I don’t think I have ever visited Denmark street. As I used to play the classical guitar I really ought to visit the place. I have visited the Spanish Guitar centre in London a few times to buy strings and books. I don’t know if that is still there? I think it was near Leicester Square underground station but I could be wrong? I have a classical guitar I had made in Perpignan France and to my shame I haven’t even opened the case for about three years. As it cost me over £2000 I should really try to play it again but my interest is now in brewing. Cheers Daniel 👍👍👍
Dear Daniel..i love this sir!! LIKE10 for sure..having a trip with you is always a super plaisir mon ami! Keep on sharing your beautiful work on music stories in history..keep well amigo! Peace.
Thanks Keros yeah I really enjoyed doing the research and filming for this video!.. Really pleased with how it came together. I’m planning on making some more like it
If we were buskers, I’d play there just to capture the spirits that surround the place, to take it in. And so cool that so many legendary players bought the guitar there that was named after someone who grew up 20 minutes from where I’m sitting and invented the electric guitar there.
Yeah there is a lot of history at Denmark Street, but unfortunately a lot of the business's have either closed down or moved to trading exclusively online. But after my visit to the street I was pleased to see quite a few place's still there
@@DanielAtkinsMusic A place like that ought to close up Denmark Street to vehicles for a weekend and hold a street festival celebrating its musical heritage. (Chipotle would make a killing, too.)
Thanks Cheryl glad you liked it I put a lot of work into it. I hope you like T'rex Because next Tuesdays video is all about the legendary Marc Bolan and at the moment I'm working on a video all about David Bowie
Thanks for the comment George. Tell me how did you find the video, what was you searching for ? And what made you start watching it in the first place? Was it the thumbnail? ... your feedback would be most appreciated.. Thanks Dan & Manuela
@@DanielAtkinsMusic I just searched Denmark street as I love the place and your video looked very interesting and I was correct. Great editing and very informative.
