"Vision" is part 2 of the Apocalypse trilogy. I believe they are showing us the perspective from the future in this series, showing us how the earth looks like when we keep acting like we do. While "Maison" was talking about the destruction of the environment, here they seem to be talking about the destruction due to war. I don't know if that was the idea from the beginning, but Putin's aggression definitely played a role here. In one set they even dance in front of what looks sort of like a huge trident, which is the coat of arms of Ukraine (could be a coincidence though, or this is me seeing things). It is easy to see how the conflict in Ukraine could result in global destruction. It's just a push of a button away. Note that Dami presses a launch button, but it's not for nukes. It's for spreading their message, their vision. Peace. To be heard all around the world. The song is also a call for action, to stand together against aggressors and those who are destroying the planet out of greed. There is not much difference between someone leading an army or a corporation, if the result is destruction. Still, Dami said the intention is to resolve the problems in a peaceful way. So, what do we do? There is no easy answer. Dami has an outfit that shows that perfectly. One half is an innocent bridal dress, the other half is simply badass. What I know is that any aggressor only listens to very limited diplomacy, and they need to know that the good in the world is ready and willing to fight them if needed. Whoever the aggressor is, we are more than them. They need to know they will never succeed, the only option is peace. By the way, my interpretation could be completely wrong, any other theory is perfectly valid as well. Musically, it's heavier than Maison, and I feel it fits the subject matter very well. It sounds aggressive and heavy, but also soft and vulnerable. There is the duality again. And I love the fake keychange at the end of the chorus, the crazy bass and the guitar in the bridge. All in all this is a fantastic release!
dreamcatcher \:D/ you can interpret vision as an anti-war song. there's a lot of war/peace imagery in the mv and of course war can be apocalyptic lol. that's probably why the chorus instrumental went a lot heavier to go along with the theme.
Alot of insomnia have songs they dont like as much which is fine, it makes sense due to how diverse their discography is, we don't mind if you're not a big fan, as long as you still appreciate it and the work put in. (which is obvious you do) I know for me Vision and ODD EYE are two of my favourite dreamcatcher TT, whereas BOCA and Deja Vu (which tend to be some of the more universally loved) don't tend to hit as much for me :) we all have our own tastes

I get it Valen. Vision literally my most favourite DC song..people just have different taste song.. Just I like both De Javu n Vision..De Javu is my top 3 DC song.. Check it their bside song has more variety you will enjoyed differently way.. Thanks for DC reaction
