Music Producer Reacts to BTS - Euphoria AND Genius Deconstructed Video

Well BTS actually stands for bulletproof boyscouts so the gun isn’t really out of place

HAHA what’s actually so funny is that a lot of BTS’s old songs had the gunshot sound because their name in Korean translates to “Bulletproof Boyscouts” more or less. So when they debuted as more hip hop, their songs used a lot of gun and gunshot sounds and visuals

The starting "gunshot" is actually the sound of a cassette gaming console from the 80s... This was included to show Jungkook's love for gaming and that gives him euphoria.

Actually some of the first BTS songs have gun sounds. Songs like: "no more dream", "we are bulletproof", and some others from their first albums. 😂 And BTS actually stans for Bulletproof Boy Scouts.

I was literally just watching the Genius vid with DJ Swivel breaking down Euphoria's production and was thinking, "Ah man, I hope Joey does a reaction to Euphoria soon."

And now I understand the main reason why I love bts; it's because they aren't afraid of doing new sounds. I mean, we don't need to hear other albums one by one to notice they experiment with the sounds. Love Yourself: Tear is the perfect example of music freedom. We have songs like Airplane pt.2 with this tropical-ish, mariachi sounds, then So What with all those electronical vibes, then 134340 with that relaxing lo-fi style (which, btw, I love and is my favorite from the album, thanks yoongi for that masterpiece), then we have those powerful hip-hop sounds with Outro: Tear, and idk man, that's amazing. I just love how they aren't afraid to be out of the box, musically talking, and that's awesome. We don't see those kind of artists in the western media so much (I'm from LatinAmerica, so in my case the only things that I can hear that are different in the radio is bts, after that I only hear copies of Despacito or Bad Bunny but with different names basically adhsja) Thank you man for doing this videos, I'm learning about producing after seeing your passion with producing, and I always find lovely when you talk about producing, or hearing other people's work. (sorry if y'all see some grammatical flaws, I'm still not that fluent in english asdhja)

I love that rant u did. Its actually true how BTS creates new sound and they are trendsetters while rest of the world follows the crowd. They are so much into experimenting and trying and taking risks that they actually do phenomenal things. and u did ur best. This video was fun and I was actually so into it.

I wasn't a sucker for production until I fell upon this channel 😭😭😭. I always loved how songs sounded and that's why I'd always listen with headphones so I could hear everything but I never went into much depth with it yk because I didn't really care that much I always focused on lyrics and voice. But ever since I've been watching you break down the sound and stuff I've become more interested in the production and trying to break it down myself and just imagine them working on these songs. My brother was a producer so I know a littttllleeeeee sum sum.
