I think trapped in a spiderweb, is kind of reflecting a toxic connection, whether it's a relationship, or toxic/obsessive attitude to their art (kind of like Red Lights can be interpreted as an obsession to art and the industry). A lyric says something along the lines of, I got myself trapped on purpose, which tells, they know what they want to achieve but are well aware of what the potential cost could be. Also something I noticed is when, (I think it's) Seungmin sings while he's trapped behind the red string, the carpet on the floor is from the Overlook Hotel (the shining), which seems to me to be a reference to an artist's obsessive, almost toxic or venomous committment to their art, even to the point of madness
The spiderweb, venom etc is a metaphor for toxic love. The love interest is not good for them/him (hence toxic) but they are too far gone in love to want to escape it!
Skz make relatable music and leave the interpretation to the listeners. It stems from their own struggles with anxiety, depression, self doubt, self love, strength etc…. This can be viewed as a “toxic relationship”. Since they loooove wordplays (their lyrics and titles are laced with them) it can be construed as a love relationship, however they are alllll about the haters. Their album Noeasy was a clap back to them, and I feel like this is the same…. The hate is like venom but instead of falling into the trap the haters set by trying to knock them down, they use it as the addictive potion to do better. While they can take the easy exit out and end the struggle, they would rather stay and work harder to show u their strength. Etc…. Their entire discography is amazing but the past few have been look this is us… we are here and all it hate does is provide the fuel we need to succeed.

Specially considering just how bad my judgement calls are on so many of my other clicks. (I don't just count liking the song as a positive RV, that makes no sense.) Sadly, most are just anti SKZ. They even forget to change their tags first. That said though, your love of music is evident, as is your taste. Honestly, you seem like a really awesome guy. So for the moment on this album your guess is technically as good as mine. I do suggest if you want to make your own judgement on it all. You should head over and play the trailer for the actual album "Oddinary" and the track teaers. They will help you massively to come up with your own theory on it all. Be warned. These guys are geniuses. Honest truth. There's also countless pop culture references leading back to their love for Deadpool and his love for them. And a top on references to tea is throughout their discography. All the way back to pre-debut and debut tracks. Unfortunately the guys are currently in quarantine. 6 of the 8 members started testing positive for COVID-19 the day after their album dropped and the day they were supposed to start the comeback events to promote it and start giving us the keys to the puzzle... Sorry, keys are a thing with the. Their concept is career long and very cool. If you really want to get into them. Start the discography at "Hellevator" and work your way up their MV and performance video list. You won't regret it. But just make sure that you check for each new albums trailer. If you go that whole route. Everything will makes sense. And it actually... profound. Lol just make sure if you do you are ready. They are 70 MVs + performance videos deep in their journey. But I will say this... Not a single skip track. I couldn't believe it. 🔥 Anyway! I hope you continue to make Stray Kids discography reactions. I would say that the title "Venom" is kinda misleading as the title. The original Korean name translates to spider web, so it's safe to assume that venom itself doesn't have any other relation to the song other than being possible catchier song title in English.
This is just from what I've read from others and my own thoughts 😂. The song is about toxic love for them and how they are too far gone in it to give it up. If you remember Venom the movie he was caught up in his love for the story to the point that it became destructive where he lost not only himself he also became Veno, he lost the person he loved and his life was toxic.

All SKZ members have unique voices and their voices are blended really well, and l think it's one of their strongest points. They keep changing the combinations of members not when they all sing together, but every combination works just fine and gives different vibs. l should say the team members were very well chosen by Bang Chan, the group leader & producer (one of their producing unit 3racha') The company let them do their music with their style(at the beginning the company worked together for what the next album is about, but as time goes by and 3racha's composing ability get stronger, the company let them choose and decide and organize the whole album(including the main topic, of course), too, and just gives full supports when the kids need. 3racha(producing unit of SKZ, BangChan[2:20], Changbin[1:30], Han[4:11]) composed with another composer not belong to the group and wrote the lyrics. Chan and that composer arranged the song. (Sometimes they are using others' track and sometimes Chan made one by himself. Other than 3racha members are also encourage to write a song. Their musical range is wide) SKZ's the most recent album ODDINARY is about “With the title ‘Oddinary’, we want to bring the message that everyone has their own ‘odd’ in them, that’s totally and ordinary.”(said by Chan) According to producing units, for this albutm, they talked about the main topic and decided to see the inner self (the inside of a human being), So their goes to MANIAC talking about ODD sides in the people and that is okay. For this song, "Once l fall in love with your charm, l can't get out of it like you're caught in a real spider's web. You're too attractive. What should I do? It is a song with a sticky track and a sticky top line." said by Changbin. The Korean title of the song "kumijool" means "spider web" and English title is venom as you know. lf you are caught by spider webs or paralyzed by venom, you will be trapped and unable to move, so l think, for this song, they use "spider web" & "venom" for something that are hard to overcome by yourself and make you feel trapped. Some spider also have poison, and in this MV it is described by the scene in that the spider directly walked into your heart and poisoned it. They sang about a person who are captured and paralyzed by your charm and feel trapped and cannot get out, but in the lyrics, at the end that person decide to remain trapped by his own will. ln that MV, in the last scene Felix(low voice guy, [5:22]) is finally about to escape and opens the door to outside and even sees the bright outside, but instead of walking outside he himself voluntarily closes the door and chooses to remain being trapped. The first singer you liked, with the red string web, is Seungmin. Later in the video the vocals when they were eating at the table, were done by Bang Chan--you got his name and face correct. The blond shooting red hearts rapper is Hyunjin, who really came into his own with this album, I've never heard him rap so well. Changbin's raspy rap, at the beginning and in the red box. Han, rapping with the gun to his head. Lee Know in the mirror. IN playing chess with Felix. Check out "8 rappers, 8 vocalists" for a quick fun Skz run-down. Some of the clips are outdated, but overall it gives a good sense of just how all-round these guys are. (Felix' singing has improved a lot over the clips they include, and they have one clip of Han singing badly off pitch--this is a karaoke game they play, where they try on purpose to sound as bad as possible, I don't know why they included that clip, since Han is a really great vocalist with excellent pitch control. I think the compiler doesn't have a great ear for pitch, maybe).
