I wanted to know what will your reaction be like, when you hear Mark's rap and damn I must admit that his rap and Baekhyun's high vocals were the best parts of this song. Check out their other songs too if you have time. And yeah, I think this was more like a starter song to show people that they're here to own the stage and to show off every member's talents. I think their next comebeck will be more of a chill song and I also think their next track will be more vocals orientated.

Yes, its their first song... listen to the rest of the album. It varies a bit from this. I Cant Stand the Rain is probably my fave. The rest of the songs other than those two are songs with only a few members vs all.

For example, his solo, "Drip Drop" has a very different musical arrangement that kind of flips itself midway through. "Thirsty" and "Eclipse" are also quite unique. Then there is the phenomenal "Sayonara Hitori" MV where an anime ballad meets a Warcraft battle...enough said about that.

Yeah you're right about the context of them telling the world for their first song debut of " We're here" or "Coming for yah" kinda of introduction for a debut but there are meaning behind those debut in Western countries. Kpop are honestly enclosed in asia and tryna conquer the world with its genre that's why they are coming to say THEY ARE NOW HERE and THEY DON'T EVEN CARE while enjoying the stage 🤗

When I first heard the beat for the verses, it felt super familiar. Then the rapping started and it itched at me even more. Where did I hear this Neptunes-y syncopated percussion before?! I figured it out, and it feels nearly too appropriate to be a complete coincidence. When Justin Timberlake struck out as a solo artist from the world's biggest boy band, *NSYNC, The Neptunes set him up with "Like I Love You." Now, SM's putting together their own boy band super-group with the same beats, including the boys' rapping filling in pretty convincingly for Clipse.
