@@francenkovcan5211 You do know pro wrestling isn't actually wrestling. He's big but that's about it. Anyone that trains in martial arts has a great chance of beating him. You could submit him, chop him down with kicks, or even knock him out because even big guys can get knocked out.
According to TechN9ne Dwayne did that on his first take, and according to Dwayne he was a bit buzzed at the time (his words not mine) so yeah the rocks pretty damn good
Tech N9ne was like the plate(The base), Joey Cool was the pancakes(Was the template), King Iso was the fork and knife(Needed for it to be eaten(sound in this context)properly), and the rock was the syurp(Not needed but ways better with it) I think I may just be hungry
Dwayne definitely isn't an amazing rapper by any means, but he's real good. I hope he goes on, I would love to hear him speed it up and get a bit more technical.
I think they cropped around his limitations already , speeding it up and improving his technique would need a lot of practice , I know he is a very hardworking guy but Idk if he'll put the time in ... maybe I'm wrong , and I hope I am , it's very positive for lyrical rappers all over the world if The Rock gets into it .. Maybe he'll get some new people into it ..
@@culturedsquid8442 Oh yeah, for sure they made sure that it stayed within his limitations. I wouldn't doubt that he would put in the practice and work to get better though. I really hope he does, at least.
@@untermRadar710 This isn’t his first song the rock stars in Moana so he sings in that and if you’re talking to raping he literally did a lot of rap songs in his career
Rock's verse and delivery was fire if you consider that he's not really a rapper. On the flipside, underwhelming and I be like "wait, that's it?" because it was too damn short.
Saw live cast with Tech, Joey and Iso, they actually had the song done a year ago, Tech said he was missing something at the end and contacted Dwayne about doing a "Rock Type" promo at the end of the song, and Dwayne was like Nah, I wanna rap, gave Tech a few lines he had been working on and tech Was "ohh Ok so you wanna come like that!!!" LOL Also, the rock has rapped before...on the soundtrack for Moana he sings/raps a song called Your Welcome.
I think with the Rock having a huge presence, it makes sense that the beat changes to some choir like beat, just like how he doesnt have a really continuous flow, but more of an impactful delivery of shorter parts. For me his part actually fit him really well. Suitable for a Colossus like the Rock
This is the first time I have ever watched your channel and I think I would watch you alot and I hope that something like this would come up again woth Tech N9ne and I like the way you would listen to the beat and how things were different
The Rock really didn't do himself a favor by putting himself on the same track as these three for his first performance. That said, while really basic both in text and flow it is also really solid. He's not a rapper, and that's something you have to understand when you listen to this. It's a lot better than you would expect from a celebrity, he's put the work in for sure.
Love the track. The Rock’s verse was a little loose in parts, but he absolutely went for it, and went hard. I don’t want to hear him do a solo track, but if he keeps up this work on different features and such? Yeah, I’m in for that.
Listen to more Tech. Listening to him for bout 20 years, and he is hands down one of the most versatile artists I've come across. Cross Genre, his guest vocals, his music, it's all just quality. Pretty much Tech and Slipknot have been the soundtracks to my life. (Both of which have featured eachother on a couple songs) [CMFT - CMFT must be stopped]
The rock’s verses in this have become a meme to me at this point so randomly I’ll just be going about my day and ITS ABOUT DRIVE ITS ABOUT POWER WE STAY HUNGRY WE DEVOUR just pops into my head lmao
I wish I could read music like u can but I always appreciate good beats n bars we not so far apart thanks fo the vid(btw I agree the sec guys was fire 🔥🔥)
the Face off Nicolas Cage line, was most likely referring to the movie Face/off with Nicolas Cage and John Travolta in the lead roles xD it's an, interesting movie xD
Its about drive Its about power We stay hungry we devour Put in the work Put in the hours And take what ours Black and samoan in my veins Culture banging like strange I change the game so what my mother f##king name (rock)
Doesn't it kinda seem like there was A LOT of reverb on the rocks vocals that made it seem like he was back in the wrestling ring with the mic? Or is it just me?
The hook isn't tech. It's Krizz Kaliko. Not only does he do most of the hooks for tech he also is just insane himself. Check out Spaz - Krizz Kalico. Shit will blow your mind.
