The children of the Nobel Prize winner Narges Mohammadi received the prize for their mother because she is incarcerated in Iran. The song choice is so appropriate for this situation. The children who are twins are the same age as Angelina. They were interviewed before this performance. I am pretty sure that when she finishes and looks to her right she is looking at the children and putting her hand over her heart. That is just who she is. Making no show of her kindness but it is always there. Sweet and loving child that she is.

Her voice is like an instrument in the orchestra...just perfec! Bravo! Angelina!

Charity she donated the 80,000 dollars she won on Norway’s Got Talent Angelina Jordan won Norway’s Got Talent at the age of 8 in 2014, the prize for winning was eighty thousand dollars, this money was donated to children’s charities. At age 8 her first charity performance was in Germany to raise money for heart disease. Again, at age 8 she does a telethon for Plan International Children’s Charity. Still at age 8 she performs for Norwegian Sea Rescue Society Charity. On the 12th of Dec still at age 8, she performs at Save The Child Nobel Peace Prize, 4 days later, even though she has a very bad cold, she performs for the Swedish Heroes Foundation against her doctor's orders. At age 10 she performed for the Norwegian Refugee Council Charity. Also age 10 she performed in Seoul in South Korea for Rotary International to raise money for children’s vaccinations. Angelina Jordan comes from a very wealthy family and does need the money, she, and her family want to share her wonderful talent with the world. This is what makes AJ and her family so very special. What a fascinating and intimate interpretation of this mithical song, absolutely suitable for the occasion of the tribute to Narges Mohammadi! I was moved to see and hear Angelina singing in such an incredibly mature and charming way, this wonderful version of a fantastic song and so appropriate to the occasion, 8 years after the last time, in the same studios and with some of the musicians who accompanied her as a child, when she took her first steps into her musical future. Here Angelina was simply fantastic and "unchained", a singer who has already sung on 2 different occasions at the Nobel Prizes and at just 17 years old.💛🧡❤

No Shoes When AJ was very small, she meets a girl on the Steet in a foreign country that was weighing people with a bathroom scale to make money to buy food, the girl did not have shoes, so Angelina took her shoes off and gave them to her. AJ stated she would not wear shoes while performing until ever shoeless child had shoes to wear. Great reaction! And nice to see you again as well. The two performances you talk about in 2014 when she was 8 were not from the same event. That second part, indoors, was from a gala called Swedish Heroes, a campaign against bullying. But I believe you are right, that her bare feet, outdoor Nobel Prize performance may very well have triggered the cold that she had on the gala 🙂 As for THIS year's Nobel Peace Prize performance, it should once and for all remove any and all doubt as to what kind of an artist Angelina is. Not that there has been any doubt within her fan base, but there are others looking in. And I guess what they saw MUST have invoked much of the same feelings as we, her fans, get. Is she an Amy wannabe ? Is she merely a karaoke cover artist ?? Stupid statements like that should be quenched once and for all. Hopefully. Wikipedia: Unchained Melody is a song written by Alex North (music) and Hy Zaret (lyrics), and it was first released in 1955 as the soundtrack and theme song for the film Unchained, hence the name. The film is about an inmate in a prison who is in the dilemma of whether he should escape or serve out his sentence so that he can be reunited with his loved one. And…her grandma is an iranien woman!
