That was a helpful tip about finding out upfront which building you're in. I like the heads-up about the loud music. I heard on another review of the hotel at the Island's that there's loud music playing late at night so that's good to know. I would like a more quiet experience.
i’ve stayed here like 3 times the pool is really nice and the food place beside the big pool is also great for ice cream on a hot day i love this hotel
I think it's funny when you start in the bathroom, but overall starting outside with the sign, the location, the grounds walkthru helps me getter a better sense of the hotel at the start.

Thank you for the review. I’ve stayed at the Music Road Inn/Resort the last few times I’ve come to Tennessee. I had one very bad experience posted to Yelp in reference to their bathroom cleanliness. It is nice overall and I do like the location of the place.
I'm just surprised about the hair because the rest of the hotel seems clean. Only thing I can figure is they're not sweeping before mopping and reusing the dirty mops.
Great location for this one for sure! This hotel so close and comparable in price to The Inn at Christmas Place I'd probably pass, but I love this series; keep the hotel reviews coming😀

The Hotel is way better. Great breakfast great rooms Awesome pools. The outdoor pool at the Hotel has a diving board great slide and lazy river. You get to use both hotels amenities. Good location. Trolley stops out front.
You should go check out the Country Cascades, Creekstone and Governor's Resort chain....We stayed at Country Cascades and were pretty impressed for the price point.
The price of the hotel seemed pretty high for that time of year. They do need to do some updating if they are going to ask for that price. The pool was nice ,looks like it could be a lot of fun. The gift area could be pretty handy. They must not have a head housekeeper to check and see that the room was cleaned properly.
Hair just creeps me out especially in the bathroom or a kitchen. I don't mind dated stuff as long as I can hook up my phone and laptop. Really not a bad place to stay, I would stay there. Thanks for the review. Four more days!
We are looking for a hotel in or close to downtown Gatlinburg not looking to spend more than $150 per night. What do you recommend? Going early June 2021. Thanks!
I would say the Historic Gatlinburg Inn should be around that price point and people love it. The Howard Johnson by Wyndham Downtown Gatlinburg looks nice as well. I can honestly say that unless you're staying all weeknights, you will have some options for less than $150, but not a ton. Sorry I didn't respond earlier. RU-vid didn't notify me about your comment!

@@brettelder8023 we went back in Dec after I posted this it a very nice place right on the strip in Pigeon Forge rooms were nice and clean and we had a balcony too good place to try out there a bar on property they serve food to try some of their beers order some hot wings and a pretzel it was very good
