I bet Huell is just wowing them in heaven. He's probably got tons of friends up there. What I will always remember about Huell Howser: "Look at that!" "This is amazing!" "I can't believe this!"
Love this episode. Does anyone out there in Comment Land know the original date when this first aired?? I wish KCET would include in their notes when Huell's episodes were originally aired. It brings back pleasant memories when we know the original date when his shows were aired. Thank you.
Larry mentioned in the episode that the store had been open for 46 years, I found the store's website and it says they opened in 1955 so that would put this episode in 2001. I am always looking for clues like this because I too would like to know when the episodes originally aired!
